Jean was our server and besides being very attentive he did a great job of making our meal fun. Weâll be back.
The portions are toooooooooo small. We all left hungry.
The service was excellent from the moment we pulled up for valet parking. Our server was attentive. The burger and drinks we had were delicious. The views are beautiful the only drawback was the rain preventing us from enjoying it more.
Venue is nicely placed for views of river (we got to see dolphins during dinner). Our servers were polite & efficient as our cups never went dry and empty plates were promptly removed. The food was delicious & the prices were reasonable. Definitely plan to visit again
Fatherâs Day
We got to the hotel Friday afternoon before going to the hockey game they have valet parking they don't even help you with a bag. the check-in was easy. The girl Nichole at the complimentary wine area very nice big smile. The woman on floor 1 Miss Shelia was very sweet introduced herself and even asked if we found our room ok and if we needed anything as she was getting off. We ate a quick bite at the hotel restaurant our waiters name was Tyrone he was nice very quick and pleasant. Now I will list what I didn't like. All the painting being done on our floor as we tried to get to our room with luggage then leaving the room for the walk to the elevators trying to not get paint on us.The smell was not good. When we got back to the hotel the painters were gone. My husband who is up in age and has health issues had to sleep in his cloths due to the thermostat being broke it stayed on 69 even though I set it to 76 heat last night. I wasn't happy when I went downstairs and told them and asked for a few extra blankets. I was sent up a thin tan blanket in a small bag. Very very dissatisfied. As soon as my husband finishes his tea weâre leaving. One last note I did try to get a cup of coffee the pot was empty. I did ask the lady for a cup of coffee and that I wanted milk so I was allowed to go over to the buffet and pour milk into my coffee. The water pitcher was full so you could have all the 6-ounce cups you wanted. There was no ice machine on our floor and no soda machine so I had to go to the bar to buy a soda and asked for extra ice. Not a good night at the hotel after I write this we're driving back home a few hours away.
This was one of the best meals we have ever had! We ordered a range of items that my husband and I split starting with a velvety seafood chowder. We then had the Caesar Salad which was delicious as all of the elements were very fresh. For the entrée we had the Filet Mignon which was delicious, cooked perfectly and plenty for the two of us. However, we did order separate desserts. My husband ordered the cheesecake which he said was very good. I ordered the key lime pie which was the best I have ever had! It came in a dish and the key lime filling was almost like a mousse, it was so light. It also had a tartness that I found very nice. Our server, Linda was attentive, but not intrusive and when we ordered coffee insisted on brewing a new pot for us. She was wonderful. Overall, it was a fabulous meal.
Thank you River’s Edge for a wonderful experience! I have to be honest that the reviews had me pretty skeptical and I was worried what the outcome would be like. However, we got there for our reservation, were seated early and dinner was wonderful! Our server Linda was very kind and patient with my children and knew when to refill our drinks and just super attentive to us! It was a great start to our Mother’s Day weekend!
Very delicious food. Excellent service. I had the grouper and it was fantastic. The grandchildren had the macaroni and cheese, which was made with rigatoni pasta. The portions were huge. Everyone really liked their entrees. Beautiful views of the riverwalk area. Our server was very attentive and kept our beverages topped off. The hotel has valet parking.
Menu is still limited. Great view of the river and Edgar was a great host and server. We will be back
