Nice young lady greeted my wife and I and brought us to our table. Overall positive first impression, but not Bern's. My main attraction was the internet presented Meats menu. NY Strip Steak, $16.00, Shrimp, $12.00, Chicken $14.00. Pricing and selection was a great value. Now, table menu read NY Strip $28.00, Steak Milanesa $24.00, Special was Tomahawk Steal $94.00, etc. fell off my chair, thought I was in the wrong restaurant. $$$$However, we sampled 4 tapas like dishes and found the Sausage exceptional, Garlic Shrimp delicious, Beef Empanadas original, The Filet Medallions were dry. Sangria was top shelf as well as the Capuccino and Espresso. Dessert offerings looked great especially the Flan. We will try them the next time. Pipo's on W. Hillsborough still serves the best food at affordable prices. Never a wasted trip. I will return to Renzo's, but limit myself to the tapas selection.
I ordered 2 chicken and 2 beef empanadas. They came out in 3 minutes. Do you smell Microwave. The beef was dry. The chicken was Dry. The waitress even agreed the chicken was dry. If you know, steer the customer to a dish they MIGHT like. That was the worst meal I have had since coming to Florida in 2021.
The food was excellent and the service was good. The wait staff worked together and made the experience pleasant.
The host was slow then I had to find my own reservation. Once seated table and menus were both sticky and stained. Despite all we tried to stay and order but the kitchen was out of everything we wanted to order. We will not be back.
This was a nice Argentinian steakhouse. I got some kind of meat tray for 2 and it was good, a bit on the salty side for me but pretty good. I had never had Argentinian food before but it was kind of in between Spanish food and more common kinds of Latin food(cuban, mexican). I would go to this place again for a date night with my husband.
Amazing place ! The meat is so delicious and the empanadas are extraordinary. The Renzo’s deserts is soooo good ! High recommend
Great service, cool ambience and good tasting meats.
The table was sticky, the food was over priced and not good. My son order a New York strip and the fat cap was half the portion and the inside had a huge line through it. The waitress was being trained by who was possibly the owner or family member. We were ignored for most of the meal, drinks were not refilled, table not cleared, had to ask for the check. The “trainer” was walking around with a drink in her hand and eating cake. Awful experience.
Food was definitely amazing.The place is quiet and quaint, perfect for a nice quiet dinner.Their house sangrias are so good, we ordered one each and shared.Service could be a little better but overall very good. Come on an empty stomach because the Parillas serve an army.
Ordered from here for the first time and the food was delicious I haveI had some leftover steak for the next morning and the steak was still delicious. The empanadas are really good too.
