I went up there today for a few drinks and I was really impressed. They have a full bar inside, a full bar outside, a beautiful lake with a fountain and plenty of space so you are not sitting on top of each other. If you're a Harley Davidson fan, then this is also the spot as they share the same lot as Harley. Bartender was awesome and very friendly as well. Nice quaint place, a hidden gem. I promise you wont be disappointed!
We were there for the mini blues fest. It rained. I know there is no way to control the weather. They did their best to accommodate us by having some musicians come inside to play which was great! But, the volume was just so loud that you couldn’t even understand what they were saying/singing! To be honest, even when it was outside, the volume was definitely too much. It was a small crowd of about 30 people in front of the speakers. To promote a venue as a place specializing in live music, I would think you would have basic sound system things figured out. (By the way, I’m not old and other people around me were saying the same thing.)
We were there for the mini blues festival yesterday, 4/30/2022. Awesome experience!The beer was cold & the lemon drops were tasty. And the food was much better than in the past. New chef maybe? Now about the music. AMAZING! A little rain didn’t ruin a thing. The musicians came inside & played acoustic sets till it was safe to go back outside. All round awesome time! The cowboy burger was absolutely amazing. The BBQ sauce had just the right tang to it and it was piled high with onion ring crisps. Even the lettuce was fresh and crisp. The temperature was spot on, I have not had a better burger in a LONG time. I was honestly so surprised and was not expecting that quality in a burger.
First time I've been here in a long time. I really enjoyed server's were very nice and the chicken rings were great too. The drinks were poured as they should be. What I mean by that is the price was exactly what it should be. Nothing worse than getting a overcharged and underpoured drink. I was very impressed! Keep up the great work guys I'll definitely be back!
Red Star is awesome! Great bar with a super comfortable outdoor setup and a solid menu. AND they have this bartender named Sean working there who always makes sure you're having a good time. It's definitely in my top 3 favorite spots to unwind after work
Mojo flavor shredded pork tacos for only $8 were very tasty with lots of meat. Outdoor patio with live blues music 1st Tuesday/mo - even better! Service was a bit slow, but she was very friendly. Draft beer only $4 works for my budget!
