Very clean and well stocked! I always find what I need here. There are 2 publix locations closer to my house but I drive out of my way to go to this one. Their local Florida endcap is great. I fell in love with local “bones coffee” because of it.
Update: ordered a sandwich online for the 1st time today for pickup at 2:30. They left out the 1st item on the list of condiments (spinach). I called and tried to see if they would offer a solution and nothing. Also, as I was walking past the deli area an employee was loudly complaining about working there to another employee. I dropped them down to 1 star.This is definitely the worst Publix I've ever been to! Don't let the nice exterior of the store fool you.---I've been to quite a few different Publix stores both here and in GA, and the employees here are by far the least pleasant - not necessarily rude, just bad attitudes like they hate their jobs. The only reason why I gave 2 stars is because the store is nearby, clean, and organized. Also, why is the cut fruit so darn expensive! I'm just happy there's other nearby options!
So I went in for something to munch on, in hopes of the deli having some sort of breakfast items to choose from. Although they don't offer breakfast, the Clerk Brett was very bright, and accommodated my breakfast craving. On the fly he came up with an awsome ham, bacon, egg, onion, and cheese breakfast sub. Let's just say not only was I impressed, but the sub was excellent. It was delicious, and oh so filling. So if your in the mood for some breakfast on the fly go see Brett, he definitely has it going on!!! Never dissapointed to shop here! Always a excellent experience!? A lovely full size Publix store. It is very clean and easy to get to.Had to pick up a quick lunch before attending an appointment in the area.No sticky floors and clean restrooms.I recommend this location to family and friends.
Publix is a great company! It seems everyone who works there is very pleasant. We shop there for the produce, the deli items, the ability to get prescriptions and my favorite,one for one beer
I love how clean the store maintains the aisles and parking lot. I appreciate the kind and courteous employees. The smell of fried chicken in the parking lot gets me to buy some every time. It tastes so GOOD! The prices are competitive and you do save money on the BOGO deals. I've never waited longer than 2 minutes to check out. I appreciate management's attention to customer satisfaction.
So, Publix is Publix, but the pharmacy here is awesome. One gal in particular, who's name I would definitely misspell, is the pharmacy tech (I think, if you're reading this and you're a pharmacist, my apologies) but she's awesome. I've gone with my wife to pick up her Rx, and she remembers my wife's name every time. I can only imagine they get hundreds of people through every day, so it really made an impression that she remembers my wife's name. The tech verifies info still, which is appreciated, and is always friendly, warm, and helpful.Almost every other pharmacy I've been to is nothing special. You know they fill thousands of prescriptions a day, and you're another face in the crowd. This gal definitely goes above and beyond to make you feel valued and important. Publix is good at hiring employees like that, but she stands out from the rest. I really hope Publix acknowledges how amazing this employee is, and treats her as well as she treats her customers.
Loved this Publix. It's grab-&-go style, right on Gandy Blvd. Perfect before you head out to the St. Pete. Beaches.The managers could provide a few more associates at peak service times, reducing the lines. 11:00-2:00 p.m.Lunch shift.Always a pleasure to shop at Publix. Love the BoGo sales.
Well organized Publix with a really friendly and helpful staff. The deli runs out of sub stuff regularly, so order early. Otherwise, the store is well supplied. Liquor store has discount booze in the front of the store, which is nice as well.
The service and quality of food in the deli area are unacceptable. Whenever I go there the area does not have a single employee available, had to wait approximately 10 minutes until finally someone showed up. Food presentation is horrible, looks almost as if they were left overs. You should learn from the employees from Publix over at Britton Plaza; their service is amazing, excellent food presentation, quality and variety.
