Ana in the deli department deserves all 5 stars & a raise!! The most sweet, friendly Publix employee I’ve encountered who puts all of her love into making those pub subs
Good selection, clean store. The manager was very friendly just walking the aisle greeting customers. We are visiting from out of state and this was our first time at a Publix. It is 5 Star for the area but nobody beats 10 Star HEB in Texas ? Hook em Horns
I showed up at the deli counter around 930 Thursday evening and the sandwich station was surprisingly still open! The staff working the sandwich station were patient with all the late shoppers, friendly, and even went out of their way to cut some salami to add to my girlfriends sandwich. One of the other associates also walked around the store with me to help locate an item I wanted.Always a pleasure shopping at this store!
I had to switch to a different Publix pharmacy because the pharmacist or better yet the Pharmacy Manager, Paul McFarland is by far the worst, condescending, bad-mannered pharmacist I’ve ever met in my life. His customer service is appalling. I’ve confronted him before that he is extremely rude on the phone. I can understand patients can be demanding with their medication, but I’ve never given off that vibe since I know how it is to be in the customer service industry. The icing on the cake was when I used my Publix pharmacy app to do a refill since it gives me unease to call the pharmacy as it seems like it’s a bother to talk to him, and I never got a notification/ text that my prescription was ready. When I finally called, he claim it was because I was ordering it too early; of course his condescending attitude proved him wrong, with no apologies or remorse given. He could’ve at least call me to let me know that or make it aware, before denying the prescription-but of course not. I’ll say that was not my first incident with him.I get the vibe that he hates his job. Not a good attitude. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but I had a prescription that was available for order and I called 4 times, phone still ringing for more than 4/5 min-which is very unusual. Funny thing is, I called with two complete different numbers and the phone was answered. Either that’s just a coincidence or I’m that much of a dislike. I’ll never deal with this pharmacy and this pharmacist again. Don’t want to be in inconvenience for a pharmacist that seems miserable and hates his job.
I live almost 30 minutes away and forgot my burgers there...such an annoying problem. But I called with my receipt info and Billy the manager was able to process a refund and save me the drive back out there. Great customer service.
Nice location that had what I needed. Kind of strange to take an elevator in a supermarket. Was a tad bit disappointed in the produce section. But the place had limited space. So I'll give it a pass. But overall, a nice place.
It’s a Publix. If you’ve been in Florida for more than a day you know that means this place is great, clean, and the staff is so friendly one of the stock men even pushed my cart around for me while I was on piggy back and finished grocery shopping. He even offered to pay for them but that was too much. Thanks for the piggy back Jeff
Publix is price gouging and charging double the price its competitors are charging. Whole Foods, Sprouts, Trader Joe’s, and Walmart all offer cheaper prices and with the exception of Walmart, all offer more “pleasurable” shopping experiences.
Overall a great Publix location, amazing all round staff. Just wish there was more parking space. But that’s not a deal breaker, best location I’ve been and continue to visit.
I went here for a Money Order since my loft's services were down, and I was met with friction. First and foremost, when I entered Publix, it was immaculate and welcoming. Since this was the first time I had been at this Publix and had just moved to Tampa, I had to ask the Pharmacist where the Customer Service counter was, and she politely told me where to find what I was looking for. After that, that's when my experience took a turn. Maddie was at the Customer Service counter, and she called the manager to the counter, and it just felt weird. I asked Maddie why I would need a manager's approval since I have done money orders at my Publix before in Brooksville, and she stated that it's "just a new rule." While I was okay to roll with it, I would have preferred an explanation. After waiting for 5 minutes for the manager to come over (who I thought would be Billy), a young woman came over and started asking me for all of my information... I was taken aback since I was never explained why this information was needed and only prompted with a "we need this information, or you don't get your money order because it's probably fraud". As someone who is very attuned to fraud and looks at her credit score every day, I understand the precautions that companies need to take to ensure the safety and privacy of their customers. Still, I don't know why it wasn't explained to me why they needed me to provide me with all of this information. I believe the "manager" that came forth's name was Emee. Thereafter I was completing my purchase, and I asked Maddie to provide me with a total, and she told me that she would provide me with one as soon as she had the order completed. Another associate, Alicia, was behind the counter and when Maddie told me to put my card in, I asked her for the breakdown of the total, and Alicia firmly told me that the amount in question was the amount for the money order and the requested amount. I am pretty sure Alicia was the only person who knew what she was talking about, and she actually explained to me what was needed. I will 100% NEVER come back to this Publix. Although this Publix was 2 miles away from my house, I'd rather go into Soho than be treated like this ever again.Lastly, I called customer service, and the only person who treated me with any amount of decency was Megan.
