No workers.The 2 were trying as hard as they could.Always out of white meat.I had to get out of to go line to go inside and then all the people they were helping were uber drivers, delivery. I had to speak up and say hey I am a walk in customer.
Took forever to order when there was only 3 people in the drive through don’t waste your time here
No question about it, best fast food chicken in the land. Love both the spicy and the mild. I know there are many southern eateries that can compete but as far as fast food chains, Popeyes dominates. I've lived in Texas and up north and still prefer the chicken here. My favorite side is the red beans and rice, love the flavor. I do not venture often to other menu items except for sides and biscuits. Mash w/ gravy and cole slaw are both good. The shrimp is popular and the chicken sandwich rates higher than most fast food chains. Great product consistency from visit to visit.Be prepared to wait at this location, service can be slow and it is usually busy! As with many places that have great food, I am prepared to wait. Also, for better results in fresh product and order accuracy, avoid the drive-thru.
At 06/04/2020 around 2.30pm I visit the Popeyes at water ave Tampa fl . I order 2 chicken sandwich ( 1 mild/ 1 regular ) I eat them at the inside store . I go home after that . That was the only thing I eat . 2 hours later , I m sick since like never ever in my life ( I’m close to 50 y) For 6 days now. I m taking all kind of medicine to keep my stomach down ( having all kind of symptoms for food poisoning ) I m not the guy usual write reviews at all. But today I decide to write this reviews . I will not recommend this place period .
Chicken has been dry and overcooked lately. It didn't used to be that way, so I don't know what changed.When we mobile order, even when we are the only customers at the store, the order is ALWAYS wrong. If they don't have something I ordered, they don't tell me a thing and hand me my uncompleted order and just expect me to lose my money on it. Good thing I check the bag and tell them to offer me something else. Extremely unprofessional.
I can't speak for every location, but the one on waters and Armenia, had horrible service! ,The wait time in the drive through has been anywhere from 10 to 20 mins and sometimes that wait time is before you even get the chance to do your order. And once you order it , there could be an additional 10 to 15 min wait time. When you finally get to make your order they don't have a third of the items on the menu. So you mean to tell me I have waited 10to 15 minutes to order something you don't have.....#shame. One night there was one young lady working. Only one! She was taking orders, doing the drive thru and cooking. I have to give her her flowers. Even though the wait a little long and still not as long when there is a full staff, I feel she did an excellent job,! I love Popeye as a whole, but between waiting at least 30 mins or better it's making me second guess that & yes I could have went somewhere else, which a lot of times I do because the service is ridiculous, but I shouldn't have to.... Management needs to go back to the drawing board and think of a better way to support your staff do they can provide the kind of service you advertise and the kind of service the customer's deserve....#dobetter
This place is a joke. I have yet to order from this location after 4 attempts. The 3 prior times I abandoned the line. The 4th time, I made it to order in the drive through. I gave my order and got no response. Turns out it was just an automated greeting. I had to say "Hello" twice before the person actually acknowledged anything with a clearly annoyed "one minute"....no hello back, sorry for waiting, nothing else. The person never came back so I drove off again. Terrible establishment and lack of courtesy and overall general sense to advise your patron of any delays up front.
In drive thru line for 30 minutes, kept being told to hold on " I'm the only one here". But yet at least two others were in front of store sitting down. Lobby doors locked in the lunch hour also. Drive thru left mic open and all you here is laughing and yelling. It's like this everytime I come. Now everybody has to take their break but why everyone at the same time , especially at 12:30. I come back because I like the food but this is rediculous . Franchisor is missing alot of sales.
I just ordered two meal combo's of chicken tenders. The 3 piece had on tender that you could taste chicken. The other two looked like they where over cooked and all breading. Cost have gone up, but I would of liked chicken instead of breading. Very poor giving 1 star and I shouldn't give any stars!
Came to the drive thru immediately ready to order, and was told to wait. No one attended to me for almost 10 minutes despite only one other car being there so I left... only to see them immediately serve the person waiting behind me. Don't give your business to this location, being run with mediocrity is a compliment to them.
