Drive thru service needs improvement. The attendant wasn't friendly and I was just another order to fill. At least say thank you and get back to basics. Train your associates appropriately to ensure top service is delivered each and every time.To explain further, I ordered a chicken ceasar salad with extra dressing and a beverage. Upon leaving the pick up window, I noticed the lid on the container wasn't even attached, that could have been a disaster. But the worst offense was no utensils. How the hell am I expected to eat the salad?!! So, now I'm having to park and physically go inside to get them. On top of it, the salad didn't have croutons and there was no extra dressing as I asked. Seriously, this isn't the first issue I've had here. When are businesses going to understand that there are many choices available, I'll NOT be returning.
The people there are very nice they try to help as much as they can we observed at least 14 crew members plus a manager the wait was about 15 to 20 minutes which is a little long and then they were out of items weren't sure who got what lot of confusion so I think the staff needs to be retrained as well as the manager because it really wasn't that busy and lots of people standing around doing a lot of nothing which could have made it a more streamlined process for all the customers waiting like us. Food quality was about average everything tasted very starchy if that makes sense... Hopefully things get better thanks good luck.
Walked into this location at 9:10 on a Friday night. The door says they close at 10PM and so does their website. Multiple parties inside eating. I see the manager gets frustrated with her employees that we’re cooking, one of them proceeds to go to the door and lock it. We wait at the register for 5 minutes until an employee comes to the register to tell me that the dining room is closed and we had to go to the drive thru. Terrible service and execution by the management of this location. You don’t treat customers this way especially when they’ve been standing at a register waiting for service.
This was a very sub par experience. The customer service was great BUT... I ordered a 1/4 chicken white meat with beans and rice. The chicken was super bony and almost meatless. It was a poor cut almost as if they were trying to save money by cutting it at a strange angle. I have never seen a chicken breast cut like that with those kind of bones it it. No beans with the rice but the manager did bring some for me so that was good. I'm still hungry so I am finishing my pringles in the car. This is the location in North Tampa near or on Del Mabry.
First time at a Pollo Tropical. Had grilled chicken, yellow rice, and black beans. Everything was actually better than I thought it was going to be! Delighted! No doubt I will be back. However, I wish there had been outdoor seating.
I always go to Pollo for dinner and let me tell you, DO NOT go past 8:30. Even though the hours are listed as closing at 10pm the team there start breaking down early. And the food is served lukewarm. Don't get me wrong, I love their food but it would be nice if they actually kept their food hot at least till 9:30.
drive-through employee Janet employee number 445805 very rude working the drive through. She was so disgusted when I asked for sauce. And I asked was there silverware in the bag she stated there should be. So when I got to my hotel no silverware In the bag She acted like it was a disgrace to do her job and didn’t want to be bothered I hope the owner of the restaurant will read this and fill free to contact me. As my self I have managed restaurants for years. I see a lot of improvements that can be done to better your business and be more profitable money to your company
Messed my order first time. Went back got both meals. My meal was great i gave the other one to a homeless man. Win win situation.
I have ordered TWICE from here, and TWICE they have messed up my order. I have taken the time today to do this review because of the terrible service. I ordered twice for Delivery, 2 churrasco platters, and both times 1 of them was missing. I called the store, no one answers. I called guest services 3 times, and all they do is send my complaint to the store, and no one calls me or emails me. DO NOT order delivery from this place, it will be wrong. Save your money, your time, and your sanity.
I watched the drive through move.. Order.. Get their order.. Leave.. While I waited in line behind one other person to place my order inside the restaurant.. I left after nearly 20 minutes waiting to even place my order.The female who was at the register walked up.. Did something.. Intentionally ignored the line and walked away without even acknowledging the people waiting.. Not a fan
