This was my first visit to this location, my normal go-to is the one on Fowler, so I came in with high expectations. :)Our server was wonderful and super helpful, attentive to me and my family's needs once we had all arrived and were seated. I really loved that this location offers some different dishes on the menu as opposed to the other location, it changes up the experience a bit. (why yes, I am definitely eyeballing those stuffed calamari when I return.)Now I came in with high expectations because I'm always treated right at the Fowler location, so I was comparing the two experiences a lot. My boyfriend was delighted that they offer pig feet/bone and blood chunks that can be added to the soups. My beef salad was cooked great and tasted great as always, with just the right amount of sweetness in the sauce and the meat being super soft. The biggest bummer for me was that I always love to order a side of fried rice instead of plain rice with my beef salad, however this location was not so accommodating. I was told the only option I have would have is to order an entire entree of fried rice or no side at all, so that was definitely disappointing as that makes up for half my meal experience. The prices are also a bit higher here. The shrimp appetizer is tasty, sitting in a sweet n sour type sauce with mayo over the top. It's great for something small and quick, but I will be sticking to the summer rolls primarily.Overall it's worth a try! The place is very spacious and clean. Nicely decorated. I still prefer the other location, but there are some other items on this menu I believe are worth trying out when I return. ;)
A bit pricey however the food was good. I had the fried rice with grilled squids and shrimps. The squids weren’t that great but the shrimps were good. A heads up, when you go you might get tricked by the server saying you could mix two grilled items, well that is not without having you pay for each item as that will appear on your bill. For drinks I recommend the avocado smoothie. Four stars because the server was sneaky.
I had never eaten Vietnamese food, so my response is only to the taste of the food and drinks and not a comparison with Vietnamese dishes as they should be. Given that, the tasting experience was very good, although my seafood combination was generous with rice but skimpy with seafood. The grilled shrimp plate was also very good. The mango smoothie boba was out of the world! Service was excellent, with a waiter flying in and out as if on an emergency call, but still patient and not hurried when talking to customers.
I ordered bun vermicelli with grilled beef, takeout. They must have run out of vermicelli because they substituted white rice for the vermicelli without telling me. It wasn't until I got home that I realized this. You would think they would mention this as vermicelli is the main ingredient in the dish. It was still delicious anyway.
The food is healthy and so tasty. definitely, a great place to eat. Love the peace in this placePapaya salad ✅Pho ✅Taro tea ✅
Sometime things just go the right way. We were looking for someplace to have lunch while we were waiting for the Dillard's Clearance Center to open and we stumbled an adjacent strip mall with a bunch of restaurants to include Chinese, Indian and Vietnamese. Being a fan of Pho soups my wife and I opted for the Vietnamese restaurant, Boy what a great menu and fantastic preparation, not to mention the friendly, responsive service. I had the seafood Pho Da Bien. Prepared just right and totally loaded with scallops, shrimp and calamari in such a delectable broth as you would ever want. Plenty of veggies and of course the fresh bean sprouts and optional jalapenos with lime to temper the heat. And moderately priced at just $11...wow! My wife had the lettuce-wrapped chicken curry and did not leave a crumb on her plate. The cold(on purpose) summer rolls, rice paper stuffed generously with pork and shrimp and served with peanut sauce was the choice appetizer, to be sure.
Excellent service with delicious and plentiful dishes at a reasonable price.
Following a friend recommendation I decided to visit this restaurant on last Saturday. The place is nice, with great distribution and easy to follow protocol and guidelines for social distance. The staff was nice, but not very efficient. While more than 2 employees talking in the bar area, only 1 serving all the tables and therefore a great delay for drinks at point that I had to go for it. The food had a very good presentation. It was my first time trying Vietnamese food, but definitely delicious. I found very attractive the smoothie menu from which I picked an Avocado smothie. Interesting, healthy, and also excellent choice. Not somethings that I would eat very often, but a great selection to know about different cultures. Overall it was a good experience. I do recommend the place.
Great Place for delicious Pho soup with Friends and family. Delicious jasmine hot tea. No problem changing type of noodle. Also, really good veggie steamed roll. Nice selection of items. Healthy eating.
It's been many years since I've been here but I recently visited again. They renovated the interior and have a new look to the menu. Thad the pho thai, sliced beef soup. It was not as good as I remember but it was great to be back and visit a once regular stop from my past.
