My mom and I were waiting to get my car fixed and came by for some wine and we realized it was happy hour and WOW the deals for such great sushi. We ended up getting 3 rolls and calamari! The service was great and friendly, and timing was fast! Amazing and recommend

2 stars is kinda generous. I've had grocery store sushi and never experienced food poisoning at this level. I have no clue how they prep or their safety standards, but this is day three that I'm experiencing stomach cramps. Food tasted okay and there wasn't any obvious concerns with it. But it was definitely contaminated and this isn't a place I would recommend to anyone.

My food was absolutely awful. No flavor and over cooked

An unique approach to sushi. The menu offers a wide variety of rolls that are not typical of your average sushi bar. The rice was cooked to perfection and the seafood was fresh and delectable.

I've been here a dozen times with my bf, and this place is my go-to restaurant. The sushi is always amazing. The thing I love the most is that the server always remembers us and what we've tried, like or don't like. Right now my favorite things to eat are the sushi and sushimi platter with Florida and Dinosaur rolls.

My girlfriend and I wanted sushi so we decided to try this place. The server was friendly. We both had a ginger salad which was delicious. I got miso soup, it was decent. We ordered 2 rolls. There was a piece of plastic in one of the pieces of sushi. We told the manager and she took it off the bill. The sushi was ok, I’ve had better. I would go somewhere else for sushi

Been hitting up Origami for a few years after moving to Tampa. It is without a doubt the best value you are going to get sushi-wise in the Bay Area. I have yet to have a single bad or disappointing experience with their business, and have likely ordered over 100 times. After trying many other sushi joints in town, I have always found myself coming back to Origami because of their consistency in quality, portions, and pricing. They do a fantastic job, with friendly service too. Check it out!

The food was only good because I was hungry lol. The one roll I had was fried and had more breading than actual sushi. The other roll I had had (I put a picture) spicy tuna on top and it looked like cat food. I won’t be going back…

I’ve been a regular customer here since 2017 and it’s never been less than excellent. Even COVID can’t touch this!

So I wasn't sure what to expect. But, this place is definitely a hole in the wall. The sushi isn't a ton of rice. Its almost all filling and the proportions are massive. I will be coming here every time i'm in Tampa. Also one of the only places ive been to around here that make sure they have low sodium soy sauce. Check the size next to the chop sticks.
