Would absolutely recommend people come to try this place! The service was good and the food was excellent! We particularly loved the Little James Roll and the South of the Border Sushi Burrito!It was so good that we had lunch there and wanted to come back for dinner later that same day, but they were already closed.
I recommend this place. There's not a lot of sushi places downtown, so I'm happy we have at least this place.Sushi is great and sometimes I like to order the "Bento Box" if you want a little bit of everything.The "Bento Box" has sushi, rice with chicken, salad, egg rolls and soup.
Visiting downtown Tampa for the day and decided to try this place. They have a good location and I assume they are pretty popular because there was a nice sized crowd by the time I ordered. After receiving our food we walked outside to enjoy the weather, so when I opened my to go order. And I was about to grab a roll from my volcano rolls. I saw a piece of hair in the center of the roll. I walked back over and asked for a refund due to the line, and I knew I didn't have time to wait. The lady tried to tell me that it was not hair but a piece of the wood from my chopsticks, I explained to her that it would not be possible to get the chopsticks all the way in the center of the roll if I had just opened them and I had just opened the food container. She seemed upset and handed me back $15 from her purse. Wish I could have had a better experience, my husband seemed to enjoy his, but you only have one chance to make a first impression .
The sushi was great and the peanut sauce chicken tasty. The green tea boba was fantastic too
I'm a sushi lover and this place amazed me. This is the first time I've ever made my own sushi roll. The amount of sushi you get for the price point is a great deal. This place is a must go for all sushi lovers
Always so kind and helpful! Amazing menu with something for everyone, even if you’re not a sushi fan. The staff is personable and kind. Their California rolls are amazing, so creamy and delicious. Best sushi I’ve ever had, I can’t find anything that can compare.
Stopped by before dropping off someone at the airport. Nice area, very chill spot. Got the spring rolls and a California and Tampa roll. Tampa roll was a pretty dang good size, I was surprised. Prices seemed pretty fair to me. The peanut sauce for the rolls was also top notch. Nice and thick, not runny like other places.
My first time here and I’ve literally been to almost all the sushi, Thai, Korean, and Japanese restaurants in Tampa Bay. This place is delicious and in walking distance from the Hilton.I’ve been here 3 times now and never disappointed, I will be back many more times.
I can’t put into words how much I like this place, if you think they are amazing already, wait until you try their catering. Food is always fresh and flavorful, their individual plates look and taste amazing and their catering isn’t the exception. Just, amazing. My family and I had 200 rolls + appetizers for our Christmas dinner and still the next day very fresh. I simply love it and recommend it to anyone, they are amazing and friendly people too so top of the top! Thank you and see you guys very soon!
Saturday’s menu states they don’t sell Thai food. The man working the cash register explained the difference between a couple Curry bowls and accepted the order of the “ 3 Hungover guys” in front of us. When my family was ready to order we asked about the bowls he was speaking of and we’re told “we weren’t making Thai food today”. We accepted the answer and ordered Sushi, I chose theSpicy Salmon Roll. For my first experience I am disappointed. Completely unprofessional.
