Darrin and his staff are amazing! I had a last minute need for catering and Olympia came through, quickly helping me put a menu together that was top notch. The whole experience was more than I could have ever expected. Darrin was super responsive, staff was friendly and on time. Throughout my event guests were raving about all of the dishes! I can't wait to host another event using Olympia Catering!
Olympia Catering serviced our wedding at the Museum of Fine Arts on 4/22/22. Darren and his team are incredibly professional and accommodating. Our guests RAVED about the food and the event staff were professional and attentive. As a couple who was affected by the pandemic, we are so appreciative of Olympia's kindness and flexibility during our longer-than-expected wedding planning process.
Thank you to Sherri and the Olympia team. They all did phenomenal work the day of our wedding. Everyone loved the food! We cannot thank you enough for the whole team pitching in to help with setting up all our personal items including the chargers, cheesecloths, and place cards. You all went above and beyond to make our vision come to life and make it a truly special day. All the staff were so genuine and nice, excellent service! We asked for white wine when we were coming in for the reception and we were told they ran out during cocktail hour and went to go get more. We were told throughout the night by guests that white claws ran out a few times. But they did replenish for later on in the night. Olympia’s food is not salty like other caterers we tried. The food feels upscale and is nicely presented. We did plated for our wedding. Olympia has all different options for linen colors and table settings. Sherri was a big help with ideas and color combinations.
Darren and the Olympia Catering team are the best! They catered our wedding and not only is the food still being talked about by all of our guests, the service was amazing as well! The captain made sure to check in with me several times throughout the night to make sure I had everything I needed. If you are looking for catering service, look no further! The food is INCREDIBLE!
Olympia Catering was great to work with for my daughter’s wedding this month. They have a wide selection of appetizers and entrees at various price points. The food was excellent. Darren and his team were friendly and responsive during planning and at the event. Darren accommodated a last-minute change in chairs that made my daughter very happy. We were able to collaborate remotely for planning during the pandemic, since we do not live in Tampa/St. Pete. Thank you for contributing to our memorable event! It is no wonder why they are the exclusive caterer for the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Pete.
Olympia Catering not only provides amazing food but has an incredibly talented team. Darren was a great communicator from the moment I introduced myself. On the day of the wedding the catering team was TOP NOTCH. Seriously some of the BEST people I've worked with. The team was all very fast to bus plates, glasses, etc. but anytime a glass broke on the dance floor or there was a spill they were out there tending to the issue before I could even let them know. They were like hawks for that stuff! Tina was such a delight to work with and in fact I was slightly sad the night was over. I hope to work with her again!!The food was AMAZING!!! Although I was a vendor for the wedding the vendors are WELL taken care of!!! The food was FANTASTIC and certainly appreciated!!If you're considering catering needs & unsure on whether you'll be in good hands or not, TRUST ME you will be!!!!
Olympia was the designated caterer for our venue in St. Petersburg, so while at first we were somewhat dismayed we weren't going to be able to select our own, that sentiment quickly disappeared and turned into a pleasant surprise. Darren and his amazing team prepared delicious food for our taste testing, and served as constant aids in our wedding planning journey in the months to follow. And on the big day, Olympia delivered a full suite of delicious appetizers, entrees, and deserts for our 150 wedding guests. The appetizers were amazing and came out hot from the onsite kitchen straight to our delighted guests. We opted for the chicken entrée which was truly legendary (we are told it has been a signature Olympia dish for 20+ years!) We in fact received multiple compliments the night of and the weeks following our events from friends and family about the tasty entrée! Pricing was straightforward and surprisingly affordable; they also helped us work through a few Covid quirks during the height of Omicron. Additionally, the Banquet Captain was delightful to work with on the night of our wedding. Darren also went above and beyond in helping us pick out proper tablecloths to match the venue space and our gold decor which definitely created a special extra pop when guests entered the room. Thank you to all at Olympia for a job well done, you were truly a dream team!!
I've worked with Darren and Olympia Catering for probably 10 years, and they have always over-delivered. Most recently, they assisted me with an important memorial reception, and the guests were blown away with the level of service, quality of the food and the presentation. I would recommend them to everyone!
I didn’t get to book. I had been looking at this vendor for about 6 months and got to try at a wedding event and it was great. But the communication was horrible. I would not get responses to my emails for weeks and at one point had to call. Decided to not book due to this.
Delicious food and wonderful customer service. We have used Olympia for the last two years for the holidays and will continue to use going forward. They are a Godsend for wives like me who hate cooking, but want to provide a great holiday experience for my family. :)
