DEFINITELY My go to when I want to eat well. This location always gets it right! The food is great, the service wait time is good, and curbside pick up is SO convenient.
We came in on a Saturday early afternoon was not busy at all. Was seated right away however heard the waiters and waitresses complaining saying they were supposed to be working in different sections . In the meantime we were told our waitress would be right out to get our drink order. We waited 20 min for someone to finally come by and take our drink order , instead of going to get our drinks. She went over to a couple who had just sat down , took their drink order and came out with their drinks before us. We didn't order anything from the bar , very simple 4 sweet teas and a coke. 10 min later our drinks come and we wait for straws. We specifically were asked if we we'd like some bread sticks but didn't get them until she finally got to us to take our order. We were a party of 5 another couple came in after us and 2 ladies were finished with their meal in leaving so they defiantly were not busy or short handed saw plenty of people of front standing. Even walked over to the opposite side of the restaurant to see if maybe they were just busy , but just as I thought they had very few families but plenty of staff taking care of them . Not to mention a manager never came by to see how everything was but she was walking around trying to find or set up the self checkout device or whatever its called. The waitress brought our boxes and once again we waited for a bill. She even walked by and said is everything ok and we said yes we have been waiting for our bill for 20 minutes now and the lady said to my father in law we'll don't you have the device on your table and he said no we didn't however I have cash to pay , she rolled her eyes and said let me find your waitress. Just a reminder why we will not go back to this location. Wesley Chapel isn't far.
Food was okay, salad great, breadstuffs not done or just tasted old and the children's French fries tasted as if they poured half container of salt. Greatest asset was our waiter Christian, who was patient with our 3 kids under 9, a whole section to himself and or subpar food. He was extremely polite and created a pleasant environment for us.
We arrived at 5:30 yesterday with a party of 12, after 8:45 we were just getting our bill. Almost all of the food came out at the same time, but we waited for drinks for over an hour, Beforehand 4 of us sat at the bar when we got there, and ordered cappuccinos while we waited for the rest of our group to arrive. One of the bartenders complained about having to make cappuccinos right in front of us, so we canceled those told her if it is a bother then don't even make them we don't want them. And after that service was downhill from there. Almost three and a half hours for us to go in and have a meal and drinks and the place was not busy at all. I was told that we had two trainers. I don't understand why they would stick two people in training with nobody there to train them. I do not recommend going there with a large group you will be there most of the day.
I haven't had it in awhile but glad I went always good vibes great service also the food drinks are always on point
Family of three were seated in the bar area in a booth that had a six legged occupant from the roach family. Our waitress came in a good timely manner and was very pleasant. Family ordered meals, I just wanted soup and salad. All of our silverware was filthy! Hubby's fork actually had old food on it. So nasty!! Sadly, after we got our silverware replaced, we dug in to a limp salad, and hot (but old) breadsticks. These were not the delicious soft tasty breadsticks I had enjoyed from OGs in the past. I had also remembered how much I loved Zuppa Tuscana. This location seriously disappoints in staying true to the recipe. My soup had a good amount of meat and potatoes, but no kale. The broth was thin - just not great. Waitress brought me uncooked kale in a cup. Since it was my dinner, I had a refill which matched in disappointment. My family didnt say much about their food - they just ate it. Overnight.... I spent a miserable amount of time in the bathroom... soup in, soup out.
I was in Tampa in business , staying at the hotel next door to Olive Garden. As a single, I went to the bar as not to wait on queue for a one. There was one man sitting having some beers and eating his dinner sitting In the only chair at the bar. In addition one 4 top seated and two tables empty. The host asked the bartender if I could sit at either table and she said no. He pulled one of the empty chairs up to the bar so I could get a glass of wine and an appetizer. 10 minutes passed and after two people discussed, I received a pino gregio. I put in an order for an appetizer and told I could not eat at the bar. If I wanted to eat, I had to wait for a table. 5 other people were eating at the bar. One regular and a group of 4. She refused to take my order. I got no food. I was never asked if I wanted a second glass of wine. The guy next to to me got very upset that I was denied service and called it to the attention of the. Bartender. I told the guy that it normal for a sI ge woman not to get service snd the bartender agreed. No dinner, no appetizer, zero understanding of their rationale of why that’s okay!
Understaffed and waited forever for a table - Our server was Clueless - Couldn't remember who ordered what - Soups were served cold - Entrees were also cold - When told she didn't offer to bring us hot food, but we did get a deer in the headlights look - Soup & Salad are appetizers and should be served before your entree NOT with your entree - We were a group of 6 and some choose soup and other salad Both should have been served together not salad and 10 minutes later the soup and then as soon as she sets the soup down she promptly returns with the entrees - It was obvious that the entrees sat for a while prior to being served - If you like Olive Garden try another location as this one is pretty bad - Both Food & Service -
The hostess had an attitude when we walked in and then we asked to be seated in the lounge and were told we couldn't even though there were people sitting in that area and it wasn't closed off. Then we are seated and order sangria to be told they didn't have any (more like the bartender didn't want to make it). I have never heard of Olive Garden not having sangria. Our waiter was fantastic but unfortunately we did not stay since they did not have sangria. We called the Citrus Park location which advised us to just get over there and they would take care of us, even asked me what wine I would like my sangria made with, they too seemed a little astonished that we were told this location did not have sangria. We proceeded to the Citrus Park location for date night where we had great service and food & drinks. I might add we also spent nearly $100 for just two people, so it's this location's loss. We visit this Iocation due to the nostalgia as this is where we frequented for date night when we were younger, but we will be patronizing the Citrus Park location going forward due to this incident.
Management Tiffany who is the manager of Olive Gardens at Busch boulevard in Tampa did an exceptional job and has a wonderful way with customers. Tiffany's staff went above and beyond ??. The food was incredible, hot and on time. Thank you so much Tiffany for making our dinning experience joyful. We're visiting from Virginia Beach Virginia and know that covid is terribly affecting everyone during these tough times. Have a wonderful Happy New Year.
