This was the worst New York Style Pizza I have ever had. The crust was dry, toppings I paid for were none existent. I asked for extra sauce and there was very little under the cheese and broken lines of sauce on top of the pizza like they forgot I said extra sauce and squeezed it out of a ketchup bottle on top, then burnt it. I will never eat anything from this place. Neither will the 5 people I was embarrassed to feed. Someone recommended this place, obviously that person hasn't had real NY pizza. Ended up throwing it away and getting Chinese. I have never written a review in my life... that's how bad it was. Buyer beware.
The pizza is good, but the service is lacking. If you order online, make sure that you call multiple times to confirm your order. I had to call twice, and my pizza still wasn't being made after 2 hours. I was then hung up on when I asked for a refund. I had to call back and speak with a manager to see if I could get confirmation of my refund. To be honest, I'm still not 100% sure that I'm going to get my entire refund... Keep in mind that I never received my pizza as it was NEVER made (after 2 hours). This experience has been very unpleasant, and the pizza they make is not worth all of the drama. Unfortunately, I will not order from this location ever again. I've never had a problem with the Hyde Park location. Maybe they can help this location out with training. Just a thought.
Great place to grab a quick slice or two. Pizza is fantastic. I always stop by when I am in the area.
Ordered online, then received an email to call to confirm my order. I didn't see the email until after about 45 minutes from when I submitted my order online. I was told that it would be another 45 minute wait. I waited another 60 minutes and called again. I was told that my order still hadn't been confirmed. I then asked for a refund and was hung up on. I had to call back again and speak to a manager to get confirmation of my refund... I'm still not sure that I'll be getting my refund. Keep in mind the pizza was never even made, let alone delivered. Too much drama just for pizza. I won't be ordering from this location ever again.
Delicious New York Style pizza, it's almost as if you're getting the slices in New York. My favorite is the Grandma pie because it hits all the right flavors. Take advantage of their lunch specials to have some delicious pizza on a budget. It gets really busy on the weekend nights, but it's definitely worth the wait.
Stopped in, got 2 slices of cheese, they reheated them & off I went. First bite in as I sat in my truck listening to ph msg’s & there’s a tap on my window. I’d left my CC in on the counter. Thank you for that, and thank you for the great slices! I’ll definitely be back. Thin & crispy, a little char, not too shabby. Ps. I hadn’t looked at the reviews, till now, I just saw the store from the road. I think it’s funny when you see a review how they’ve been coming for yrs, but this 1 time they had a bad experience. So they left a negative note, but had never taken a moment to leave anything positive for “all those years”? Interesting.
Love. Love. Love. And Pizza. This pizza is exactly what I been seeking in Tampa. A true NY Style Pizza that could be right at home here in Tampa or the Big Apple. The pizza by the slice is what I'd expect if in NY and the pizza by the pie here is a pure delight. And like a good pizza. I love the straight cheese the best. Crisp foldable crus. Bold sauce. Fresh cheese. Simple yet perfectly made in a proper pizza oven. This is Love and Pizza. Eeyore shall return.
Best freaking pizza I’ve had in a very long time! I had “grandmas”. A freaking mazing!!!
Yep it is good NY pizza. When it comes to pizza I VERY picky when it comes to a good pie. This place did not disappoint. Great crust and sauce. The flavor was great
Vibe is better than the food but I'll take it, making NY NY Pizza a staple when I'm done clubbing in Ybor. They can do vegan but it's simply without cheese so nothing special (and sometimes you have to tell them they can do vegan when they say they don't). It's a tradition for me and more about having a cool spot to go to after dancing at the clubs, and it's right in the heart of Ybor, staying open late-ish (earlier than the clubs so leave a little early if ya hungry). I've been caught in cities wandering for hours for something vegan I can eat after dancing and that sucked so ~ in a weird way, NY NY is like an Oasis in the desert when thirsty! Plus it's good vibes too.
