The staff is always pleasant and helpful, love this store
Always been a great store, convenient and friendly staff. But yesterday, something unbelievable happened. My MIL had her money in a bank envelope when she went in to purchase some things she unknowingly left the envelope at the counter. She didn't realize she'd left it until LATE the next afternoon. She called, not really expecting anything, but took a chance because they've always been nice. And what do you know, they had it, and all her money was in it! I was SO pleasantly surprised. I love it when something happens to restore a little faith in humanity! Thank you MZ!!--Some Very Happy Customers
New owners now, they are still transitioning but the customer service is phenomenal! I stop here often now.
Its the best gas station Note: it's named Texaco now
They have new owners, very clean and organized store, brand new pumps and tanks, and take credit cards now ! They also have started the food again, I got a great 8 inch Cuban, chips, and drink less than 5 bucks (it’s a special )!
So these guys take me out what a service dog. Very rude and unprofessional to there locals And there gas is expensive compared to everyone else..
UPDATE: I went to get gas there on Sunday afternoon. I had cash on hand so was using it to get the gas. I went into the store, there was some guy just standing there chatting, so I gave the clerk 20 and told him the pump I was on. I get out to the car, and the guy who was chatting came out and in a threatening way said that I cut in front of him, and that if he wasn't a "nice guy", he could have snatched that 20 from me, or worse. He went back to hanging out in front of the store with what I think was his homeless friend. I won't be going back there, and anyone else who goes there, beware, the place has some thugs hanging out there. They are close to where I live, and happily I'm moving soon. I won't be going back there for any reason.
Pumps don't work. No credit card payments allowed. Maybe it's only temporary. Otherwise it seems like a small business that really should be doing better, but it's just tough to notice when traveling south bound. Also the price of gasoline is usually 5¢ more than nearby locations.
Not a lot of selection but the inside of the store is pretty clean and the clerk was very nice
