I got pulled pork and my husband got chopped chicken, they were both just all right. For sides the French fries were great, but the baked beans and mac n cheese were awful. The baked beans were hard and not saucy at all, they tasted more like vinegar than anything else. The Mac n cheese just tasted like milk. Overall very disappointed for the price point.

The food was delicious!Fresh Squeezed Lemonade ✅Pulled Pork ✅French Fried ✅Mac & Cheese ✅BBQ Sauce ✅✅✅Prices ✅

Meh bbq and that might be generous. Pulled pork was hard and super greasy. Sauce was served cold and with barely any added.Sides were the best part - seasoned fries were great, max and cheese was decent.

K was an excellent host at Murph's! I had the BBQ Pork sliders and Mac and Cheese which were both amazing! Thanks for the good music and great experience! If you haven't been to the Wharf, take the time to visit and check out K at Murph's BBQ, you won't regret it!!

Amazing Brussels sprouts! Tasty Mac and Cheese. Oh, and did I mention Lean and flavor pulled pork!

First time visiting Sparkman Wharf, figured we would try something from several vendors. Murph’s was by far our favorite. Got the “All-In” platter so we could sample multiple things. Loved the pork!! Not usually a smoked chicken fan but it was great with the Chimichurri sauce. K was super friendly, behind the counter, will definitely be hitting them up again next time in the area!

It's been said many times never to trust Tampa BBQ restaurant reviews...why do I keep thinking, "this next one has to be different?"Anyways, what in the hell did I just eat? Ordered the brisket, slaw and bbq beans. There were 5 small pieces of brisket with a good chunk of fat on each one, they weren't tender nor were they tough, but there wasn't any good smoke flavor to them or anything. The slaw was better than your average slaw but nothing that I would go back there just to have. Then there were the beans, which were all dried out mush with no flavor. You could get better with refried beans from a can.I almost forgot about the signature bbq sauce. Try and imagine a slightly slimy somewhat watery ketchup/catsup.The owner can come through now and offer to show me how the bbq normally is or should be, but after that experience, I'm not confident they even know. I have a feeling I'd have to try and teach them what bbq should be like and I don't have time for that.

Update: We have now learned they served our son a hot dog that contain dairy and he had an allergic reaction to it yesterday. We even informed their team of his food allergies prior to ordering! In my opinion, you get a very little portion for the price. The pulled was okay, the bread was bland, the pickle was super small and the "baked beans" tasted like canned Hormel Chili.

Ordered the "all-in" platter which came with all 3 meats (pulled pork, chopped chicken, and brisket), 3 sides (Mac'n'cheese, brussel sprouts, and fries), 2 Hawaiian rolls, 2 sauces (signature BBQ and Carolina gold), and some pickles. The brisket was the star of the meats. It was super tender with a soft strip of fat packed with flavor. The chopped chicken and pulled pork were also good and well cooked. All of the sides were also good. The brussel sprouts were probably my favorite, followed by the fries, and then Mac'n'cheese. The guy working was solo so service was a bit slow but we weren't in a hurry so it was fine. The food was worth it. Will come again.

Came today for lunch and the line was a little long. There was one guy working inside named Manny and then his co-worker was standing outside the box, just standing there with his arms crossed. We joked about how he should help and he looked at us and said he wasn't helping a "N word" because it isn't his job. It was very unprofessional and shocking to say the least.the food was amazing, hands down some of the best brisket ever. Would definitely come back to see Manny! Giving 5 stars for the food, but the attitude of the second worker was really awful and frankly embarrassing for this company.
