I have been here multiple times. I like the barbecues. Ample indoor and outdoor seating available. You order at the counter and when ready they will be call your name. I orders rib and pork, and I liked both, also baked beans are great. Prices have increased. Each person now ends up 20-30$, was less before. The quality has been unchanged in my view and continue to be great and tasty. No need to go to Texas for barbecue. Get to the neighborhood establishment. Casual dining, with moderate noise level. Different pictures and military and police memorabilia on the walls are interesting.Overall for barbecue connoisseurs this is the place to go ??
Although I have lived here since 1976, I did not try Mission BBQ. When I did go with my movie buddy, I was totally amazed at how Swift orders were filled. The restaurant is very popular, so if you go at lunch time or dinner time, do not despair. The staff has an organized system which will get you to your seat amazingly fast. They do change the dessert as only one dessert or a brownie is offered. On my first visit, I got the peach cobbler. I must say that I would like to adopt the person who makes the peach cobbler would come by my house and bring multiple peach cobbler servings. However, I am blessed by God to not get what I want. I know I would end up weighing 400 lb if I got all the desserts I want. The BBQ is awesome. The owner is retired military and I know that is why this restaurant is run so well. All the staff have the greatest attitude, and I have noticed from years of experience that employees mimic the owner or the boss as far as attitude goes. Thank you God for our armed service men and women. Veterans are given a break on pricing. I love this. I am not a veteran, but my younger sister was. She is no longer in this life. But I guarantee, that if she were here with me, this would be her favorite restaurant.
Thank you for making our day amazing. Our food was amazing, hot and on point. We had brisket, pull pork, chicken and sides for 75 people plus their amazing peach cobbler. No one went hungry! And everyone was very pleased. We will come back! Your staff is helpful and friendly. Again thank you!
I had dinner here recently while in Tampa for business. Good BBQ, sausage was good but a little cold.
I love this place!! Their dedication to the men and women that serve and defend our country is awe inspiring. Plus, the food is amazing! We've never had a bad experience at Mission. You need to open a Land O Lakes location!! :)
BBQ pork and ribs were excellent. Fresh cut homemade fries were cooked to perfection. Best lemonade I've ever had at any restaurant. Six choices of BBQ sauce, so you can't go wrong. Love the way they honor veterans, servicemen, law enforcement, and first responders. You can't go wrong with Amy food selection from here. Excellent, quick service.
Really good BBQ and a bunch of sauces to try. Truthfully doesn't even need the sauce though. Cool place. They keep the theme going throughout.
It's fast foods take on BBQ the meat and sides are not as good as some packaged BBQ from Costco. They should look at perfecting the BBQ recipes and take the new ones to Kansas City, Memphis, and Austin and do taste tests on the residents there that are BBQ experts. The Carmel bread pudding was very good.
My best friend had Mission BBQ cater her wedding and they truly delivered! The food was delicious and the team was awesome! They even made sure the bridal party had snacks at all times which we really appreciated!
They catered my brother and his wife’s wedding this past weekend. Food was delish and the servers were amazing. They were helpful and went above and beyond. They made wedding planning easy! Thank you Mission BBQ
