From the first course to the last, it was a flavor explosion. Spicy, but not over done. The vegetable samosa was seasoned beautifully. They had a complex profile with a floral note on the end. The papadon were light and crispy and not just a bland cardboard. My tomato soup, something we've all had before, was an introduction to a new friend. Herbs and spices come together elegantly. Then comes the Chicken Tika Masala. It was fork tender and with a flavor so deep that I felt like I was in the chef's home kitchen. Well worth coming.
The food and service were impeccable! We started with papadom and spicy lamb simosas. Followed by a spicy chicken and lamb (Minerva mixed grill) and navaratan korma (vegetable dish from northern India). Both were amazing. To help cool the (medium) fire we ordered a mango lassi (also very very good). Rice was complimentary and properly cooked and seasoned. All in all an amazing meal for a very reasonable price. Literally feet from McDonalds.
Fresh buffet with chai tea and good chicken tandoori.
Good food but poor customer service. They haven't adapted to the take-out model (the dines-in numbers are way down during pandemic days?). I ordered take-out. When I went to pick-up there was nobody at the register and plenty of customers waiting. After waiting for about 10 minutes, had to go past the register, close to the kitchen door to holler somebody. A person came out to take my payment but there was no acknowledgement of inconvenience.
Nice atmosphere. The food is delicious!
Really enjoyed the food here on a recent Saturday night, especially the tandoori chicken. The dining room’s ambiance leaves a little to be desired though. Their food app delivery business is prolific and the dining room has become a waiting room area for UberEats and Grubhub drivers. Many of whom were loudly complaining about the wait times and arguing with the restaurant staff.
From two items, Chana Bhatura and Halwa Puri, only Channa was OK. Under cooked halwa, over oiled Puri, and ridiculously wide Bhatura defamed Indian authenticity of taste.
Nice food. I highly recommend this Indian restaurant. Best customer service.
We stopped here on a Sunday while visiting Tampa. The buffet looked interesting so we chose it. We were so pleased as the buffet was excellent. The Butter Chicken was as good as we have ever had, including our meals in Mumbai. At about $12.00 it was a bargain.
There Chicken Tikki Masala has various vegetables in it, I’ve had many Indian restaurants who serve this dish and I’ve never seen this. Horrible combination. I will never order this dish again from them. I feel they use these vegetables to reduce the amount of chicken breast they have to use for this dish. Customer service is also lacking. Garlic naan tasted burned.
