Seriously, this is the best version of lomo saltado I have ever had! Tampa has some good Peruvian restaurants but this food truck beats them all!
We ordered the Peruban (Peruvian- Cuban sandwich)and the Lomo saltado bowl . Dishes were great in quantity and quality. Definitely recommend this place to visit!! You will not regret it. ?
Oh my, I love this place! I’ve been meaning to leave a review as I’ve been going for the last 6 months. The food is immaculate. Presentation, flavors and service are all 120%. As a fellow Peruvian I have my specific tastes and expectations when it comes to Peruvian cuisine and they SHOWED UP!! The ceviche was fresh and flavorful and a good portion size. The sandwiches are uniquely Peruvian and extremely delicious. For my sisters baby shower, we had Eat Meanchi’s cater and let me tell you, there was nothing left! Everyone kept coming back for seconds that we ran out. I highly recommend this place for daily meals and your next event!
Had the arroz con pollo. Not impressed, lacked a little flavor and the salsa criolla consisted of just red onions not a true salsa criolla. Maybe will give them another try.
Peruvian food is bursting with flavor and Meanchis does Peruvian food proud! I got the chicharron sandwhich (which was bogo for their 1 year anniversary). I loved the crispy pork and tangy onions. The Meachis hot sauce was recommended and it went perfectly with it. Also the plantains on the side were extra crispy and caramelized. Excited to go back!
Absolutely amazing food. You can tell the owner Josh has a passion for making sure every bite is a flavor bomb. Every time I have Meanchis I am blown away. My favorites so far are the Peruvian pork taco and the quinoa salad. I can’t wait to try every thing on the menu!!
Expensive for the quantity of food. Food tastes decent.Edited review from 3 stars to 4 stars: Thank you to the owner who had the courtesy to read and reply to my review - I'm surprised he remembered what my husband and I ordered when we visited the truck a few days ago. It seems like a different rice dish may be more filling so if I'm in the area, I will try it out. Good luck to the owner - I'm sure your customer service skills will help bring return clients!
I see this cute food truck all the time near my place and I’m mad at myself for just not stopping by sooner! The chef was super nice and I got the meanchis way which was amazing!!! I highly recommend :)
MUST TRY THE TACOS!!! The pork one was my favorite but all 3 are delicious!
