Normally this place is a hit! We frequently go and buy the whole family dinner. I am not a big salad person BUT the Savannah salad is something wickedly delicious. However, today I decided to go with a sandwich. The bread throughout eas burned. Both top and bottom was black and tasted awful. I cant quite understand how this sandwich was assembled without someone hesitating. No one likes burned bread. I think that is a pretty universal statement. Usually a win but today's pricey dinner left me hungry. Really don't want to see this place fade like all the other greatsAfter writing the above I discovered my husbands soup was burned and full of black spots. The brocolli and cheese was terrible today. His salad looked terrible. I dont know what happened but I should be refunded the 70 dollars spent on my dinner. Not going back.
The spuds are huge and are available with a variety of toppings. You can even get half of one as a Choose Two selection!
Bathroom sink's water will only come out for a split second. Insufficient to wash hands, esp in a pandemic; unacceptable. I wonder how clean the rest of the place is and the staff's hands. They also gave me the wrong sandwich
Finally found a place that can take the place of my all time favorite CDB's Pizza is no longer in business so I have been searching for the Holy Grail of sandwiches. Well, McAlister's Deli comes pretty darn close if not over the top. Everything was fantastic! The cheddar broccoli soup was on point, the French dip was perfect and delicious and my sandwich was freaking amazing. The veggies were so fresh and tasty. Ham, turkey roast beef spicy mustard tomatoes spring mix greens Swiss mayo, need I say more, also yeah it was nice and hot for pickup within 15 minutes! I will be back, the Mac and cheese was homemade taste, maybe it is. ?
Great food and right on time. We had a business meeting and needed a lunch spot that was close and quick. This hit the spot. Good menu items to cover a variety of people, we had 11, and tasted great.
What a lovely experience!Man working the counter was friendly, knowledgeable, and a delight. The food was even better. Chicken dumpling soup is yummy and the turkey sandwich with avocado is devine.Picked them out of the blue and it was a lucky choice.
Haven't had McAlister's in over 10 years because I only knew of it from Gainesville when my sister was in college. It was a must go whenever we went to see her. So seeing this one excited me especially because they used to have good potato salad and you can't find that many places... omg! I'm satisfied. It's what I remember & I'm back the next day ? great prices still w/still a satisfying amount of food for price in the midst of this inflationary period.Happy dance ??
Best deli in Tampa! ABSOLUTELY the best club sandwich on the planet! ??The tea at McAlister's is so delicious!!Threes so much to choose from here. They have everything a deli would have and then some more. The food is delicious and quality.Chicken tortilla soup is so good!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Went for the the 1st time today and I wonder why I have not been there before today. It was absolutely Delicious. I had the half club sandwich with a cup of baked potato soup. My son had the french dip with tomato, onion and cucumber salad. Everything was absolutely delicious. They have such a variety of items on their menu, from soups, sandwiches, loaded baked potatoes and amazing looking salads. Can't wait to go back to try something new. So many things I want to try. The staff are all amazing. Definitely going back. We found our new much spot.
Person at counter was rude.. did not smile .. awful customer service. The portions are very small for the price.. we came here because we went to one in GA and had a great experience.. I do not recommend this one!!!
