Love it overall. The sushi rolls were really good & delicious. The restaurant & service was really good.
Excellent experience for Sunday lunch. Terrific menu, attentive service, and everything was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Highly recommend!
Great service - fabulous fresh sushi
This was my first team ever eating real Korean food, and it was amazing! Such a great assortment of Asian cuisine along side great service and a great atmosphere! I would highly recommend Matoi Sushi to all my friends!
First time here and it’s like your mom and pop kind of ambience. Sushi ? were great, and we also ordered the lychee unfiltered sake which was delicious.The waitress was very nice and service was good!
I and my girlfriend didn't care much for the food. On a positive note they sat us very quickly on a Saturday night. The food came out very quickly and it wasn't bad, just not memorable. All the people around us seemed to be raving about the place so you'll have to make your own opinions. The portions were huge so order with that in mind.
this is such a cozy cute place! The waitress were nice the only thing I kinda was annoyed about is how they’re always making you feel rushed. Asking if you’re read for the check but other than that they’re sweet. The food was delicious! For 2 specialty rolls, 2 appetizers and some drinks it came to a little over $40 which I thought was great
It’s the feeling you get!!! Although the sake is great, the staff are always amazing as well. I don’t live close so when I’m in the area I always try a different roll and today I tried their kimchi stew (I forgot the proper name on the menu). It was my first time having the dish and my server helped me get set for success and man was it delicious. I eat kimchi at home but never knew it could made into something like this. The roll she suggested was perfect! I love it here! Definitely a dedicated customer!
Was excited to try this place because of their ratings but was not good. Sashimi was good but chicken wasn't. Place was not as clean as photos.
The only reason this review has even a star is because the food was pretty good. The service? Subpar. We had to repeatedly call for our server and I can't even recall if she asked us how our food was. The icing on the cake for this review is that we ordered based on the lunch prices posted on THEIR website, confirmed that we would be ordering lunch prior to solidifying the order, and we were still presented with a dinner portion bill. Please keep in mind we arrived shortly at 2 PM, which still is within lunch hours based on their website. Upon highlighting the discrepancy with our server, she proceeded to tell us there's only a dinner menu. Mind you, I verbally advised the meal I was ordering was from THEIR lunch menu. She refused to adjust the bill. So, I asked for a manager. She told me there was no manager until 4 PM -- which I find odd. Then, I had to ask for my receipt, which I also found odd. In short, don't come here unless you want to be cheated out of your money. Though the food isn't good, it's not worth the dishonesty and lack of integrity.
