I visited the restaurant in a big group for my uncle's birthday. The next day 11 of the 23 of us got the same stomach symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea. I was supposed to get on a flight to study abroad for the summer and had to cancel my flight due to this illness. I highly do not recommend eating at this establishment. The music was the best part of the experience, but definitely not worth the aftermath.
Absolutely stunning they did a really good job with the builder of this location. I’ve been to the one in the Bronx as well as the one In Manhattan on Dyckman as well as the one in Queens. The Tampa location takes it by far the best one to hang out party and enjoy some really good dishes.
Lolita (spelling?) was amazing!!! It was my daughter's birthday and she made it phenomenal. Food was great! Skirt steak salad, pasta, stuffed lobster, and a dish with mussels, clams, shrimp, and calamari! The sushi and empanada trio started us off right and our drinks were on point! A little pricey, but it was worth every dollar! Give it a try! Blessings.
READ THE WHOLE POST… please.No doubt the food was authentic of its culture. Super sweet waitress. She checked on us many times to see that our needs were taken care of. You must try there brown sugar cocktail Delicious.However, THEY A A STAFF MEMBER THAT STEALS / DISHONESTY.After we were done eating both my husband and I went to the restroom. Went back to the table to grab our leftovers. Being he didn’t see wallet, he had thought I had picked it up. We live about an hour and a half away from their place of business. By the time we got home my husband asked me for his wallet and I proceeded to explain that I did not have it. So we knew right then and there that we had left at at the restaurant on the table. We called a restaurant immediately to explain to them where we sat and explain the situation. The woman on the phone said they were busy and that no one spoke English. The next day was memorial day in which they were closed. We then called them on Tuesday again told don’t speak English called again Tuesday evening was told again doesn’t speak English. We had one of our friends from Cuba call them and speak to them in Spanish and explain what had happened. They have video cameras and they were going to check the cameras to see whether it was a customer that took it or one of their staff members. Wednesday we called to see if they had checked the cameras and they said they were too busy at that time. Thursday Friday we got the same story. We did call the cops and they did say that they get called out there quite often. So, if they had checked the cameras and it was a customer not a big deal. If it was one of their employees we told them no charges would be pressed they could keep the $500 that was in the wallet we just need it all his credit cards IDs etc. etc. Being they have not called us back it just goes to say they know who did it.So leave nothing on the table of value. Too bad that a staff member can ruin your reputation. Dishonest people are dishonest people!
Amazing food. WOW! I love this place. Maria was our server and she was wonderful. I took my aunt here for her birthday and the service was great. The atmosphere and music was amazing and we had such a great time. We will definitely be coming back for more!
Went here yesterday with a party of about 16 of us. Everyone ordered meals but it took over an hour for the delay and we never had an apology. The server seemed overwhelmed and my salad which was served last was wilted and stale. Never received the plantain yet it was on the bill. The presentation of each meal was excellent, served in many different ways. Pricey! Downside too, mischievous bug flying around. I would have expected someone to explain why we were delayed for over an hour. We waited because we were among friends.Please improve the customer service!!
Omg this place is beautiful and clean the drinks are super strong and the appetizers were full of flavors ? and the food is cooked properly and taste was on point ? I would definitely come again I found out they have hookah at the end and that they have Latin night's on Friday's they have the best birthday celebration ? ? ? ? was my favorite place my waitress was super friendly and attentive
Definitely a great experience I been to nyc and Lawrence so coming here was a must!!! Food was excellent service on point!!!!

Obsessed. Moved from NY/CT & this yet the best atmosphere. Food is delicious and fresh. I order different things every time and have never been disappointed; my favorite is the Mar y Tierra appetizer. Excellent drinks and service.. Love when Aglys takes care of my party; we love her. Recommend this restaurant 1000%.Thanks again
