I was craving a good taco. So I Google the area and found this 6 mins from me so I gave it a try. Sorry I did. I ordered 3 chicken tacos and there was nothing on them. No tomato, lettuce, cheese, sour cream!!.. Nothing but a small amount of chicken. They claim they have no lettuce, I guess none of the other stuff.. What a joke. Taco Bell is much better and cheaper!!. Glad I had cheese at home.
Every time I go to this location, it seems like nobody there wants to actually be there. The customer service was terrible, the food was thrown together & when I asked for it to be corrected, the customer service & food somehow got worst. Alexandra was very rude & something that could’ve been a very quick fix somehow became a debate about food I had already purchased. I’ll definitely stick to the Benjamin Rd location moving forward, the drive is worth it at this point. Nobody at the Hillsborough location utilized any critical thinking for a very basic task this evening.
Not impressed. My corn shell was cold and not cooked. Steak was a little tough.
Omg such a great place! Delicious food, fast service, and pleasant staff! I loved the sauce bar available and the variety offered. It was too good to wait to eat and take pictures!
The tacos I had was great, but the esquite I had was very hard to chew as if the corn wasn't cooked long enough which made me a little sad. I also had avocado slices on the side and they were kind of hard to bite into as if they weren't fully ripe.
Daughter and I were there last week. The food was very good and the service was excellent. I asked the girl at the counter what was her favorite meal and tried it. She was spot on! Definitely will return
If you want authentic Mexican food, like real authentic skip the cheese and sour cream Mexican food, this is the place!! Loli's NEVER disappoints, doesn't matter the location either. My favorite go-tos are the Carnitas and El Pastor, they are soo delicious I'm salivating thinking of them! I've also tried their shrimp and chicken tacos, which are both really good. I love the grilled onions they place on their tacos too, so much so my husband and I fight over them lol. Meals also come with red and green sauce; I prefer the green because it's the least spicy out of the two. I promise this place will not disappoint and you'll rethink of the way Mexican food should look and taste like.
Wow. Best $14 I spent in long time for to go food.Got 2 steak tacos and 1 pork. They put huge grilled onion chunks on the side, which I thought was amazing, great choice to put it on the side, if u know what I mean. And small side of yellow rice. They added 2 different sauces, without me asking for any. Great choice.
Really nice options and vairty of Mexican food choices. If you want something that is filling yet cheap I would recommend another restaurant like Taqueria Gonzalez. But if you want something that is somewhat expensive to some people but good then Lolis is the best place for that. Overall a 8/10 would recommend to try out.
Very authentic food. Their prices are very reasonable. I make the drive there often to get their food.They have 3 types of tamales which is hard to find. Their tacos are excellent as well. Every dish that I have tried there has been excellent.They have beer and margaritas in a can, but it's not really a bar setting.
