Went and decided to get a few pastries (quesitos, cheesecake and doughnuts) not only over priced got charged for a slice of carrot cake that i never got. Not worth it sticking to my original spot. My better service overall compared to this place.
Nice and very clean place. Food hot and fresh. Prices I think they are a little bit high.
The food here is great with a good variety of dishes. The pastries are just like in Puerto Rico and the establishment is spacious. My complaints are that the canned sodas are $2.00 and that while you are there ready to order, it takes them long to approach you. It was 2:30 pm and we stood there waiting too long to be served.
Great food... Felt like home cooking... Took a little long but worth the wait
I've ordered a breakfast sandwich twice from this restaurant because I didn't learn my lesson the first time. Their menu states a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich with side of my choosing, however I never received the side or a sandwich both times. Instead I received 3 small pieces of bread with ham, not bacon and eggs on the side. Very misleading. I will not make the mistake of ordering breakfast from here again. On a positive note. Their lunch sandwiches are delicious.
Came here for brunch while my cat was being treated at the emergency vet further down the same plaza. Hands down the best Cuban I’ve ever had! And don’t even think about going there without trying their brewed coffee. It is AMAZING. I will definitely be back.
Recommended by a friend, I went in to this gem and was greeted warmly. I wanted to surprise some friends with yummy pastries and I asked for their specialty! Amazing custard filled deliciousness!! Will be back and spend more time to explore the menu.
If you're hungry and you want big portions for a great price...this is the spot. The food is delicious and flavorful. There's a hot meal station and they also make amazing breakfast sandwiches and other sandwiches throughout the day. They also have a pastry dessert section. Their quesitos are amazing, and so are the other pastry like the guava turnovers. Definitely a must try when you're around the area.
Not impressed with the food at all. I make a better breakfast at home for less. I find it over priced for what you get and the French fries were the worse straight out of a Walmart bag. Asked for fresh brewed coffee and received what was in the pot sitting there for $3 I expect a fresh coffee. Asked for scrambled eggs and got scrambled eggs with ham in it didn’t ask for the ham. My husband had a pastrami sandwich with more lettuce than the actual pastrami over priced as well, Subway would have done better.
What a great find this was! I googled brazo gitano in Tampa and this place came up. I’m so happy I found it. I’ve been there twice and the food and the service has been very good each time. The bakery items and the hot food items are authentic and super fresh. The food really tastes like Puerto Rico! The prices I would say are moderate, but well worth it. I read on their website that their profits go to a great purpose. I’ll definitely be back, and I started spreading the word among friends and family.
