Cheap on food. Where we come from, CHICAGO, YOU CAN TAKE AWAY SOME LEFTOVERS. HERE if you a good eater will require second portion lol. The side salad comes in a couple of vegetable pieces on top of your main entree. Lmao. Poor service. If you order shrimp, be ready fir messy cleaning they come in shell. Big chunk of onion that's no one can eat. Would be nice to keep air refreshiner to improve the environment wheee you expect people to eat. It's one man show, he is the coock, the servant, the buss man, ! And cashier. Will think twice before going back there. Compare Chicago mix grill, red plate with your joke mix grill

The atmosphere was nice, quiet and the giant dinning table on the middle was something different for us but I personally found it as a unique touch and original. Having said that, the chick peas soup was to die for, delicious taste, and even my kids loved it. The lamb in the stick was really good too. I'm removing 2 stars because the rice tasted like cinnamon and although I know several people love this specific taste in Middle Eastern food, I myself dislike it a lot, is an ingredient that doesn't belong to regular rice (as the side I was expecting with my meal and my kids meals) if I was given regular jasmine white rice I would gladly have given them 5 stars. But overall it was a pleasant dinning experience.

We really enjoyed meeting the owner Mohammed and having yummy lentil soup, chicken kebabs and fantastic rice.

Wow, what a delightful experience. The dishes were large, bright, and flavorful, and the spices were exquisite. My first dish was the lentil soup which was smooth and balanced and literally had me saying "wow". Then they brought out the mixed grill platter (pictured) which has chicken, lamb, and beef kababs with rice and fresh vegetables; the meats were perfectly spiced, tender, and all uniquely delicious. I also had the Iraqi bread with garlic butter which was mouthwatering, and the baba ganoush which was creamy and delicious as ever. This was my first time eating Iraqi food and the owner was very helpful in making sure I ordered something I liked. Also the food came out hot and reasonably fast. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you want to "spice up" your life!

Excellent masgouf, lentil soup, Iraqi bread with butter and garlic, cucumber and olive salad. Very helpful and gracious staff.

Me and my friend stumbled upon this hole in the wall place one night when we were looking for places to eat. Khan Murjan is a middle eastern eatery ran by an Individual from Bangladesh. The food served specifically the half chicken was amazing the only drawback was you have to buy bottled water there. If you are hungry and want to try middle eastern food this placed should be on top of your list!

Very welcoming family restaurant! Great choice for Arabic/Iraqi cuisine. The whole chicken was very tender and juicy and falls right off the bone! The mixed grill kabobs are amazing along with the fluffy rice. The entrees came with great variety of soups that added an addition to the main course. Highly recommended!

Do it. Check this place out. Amazing Halal Iraqi food in Tampa! The owner is incredibly hospitable and explained the menu to us on our first visit. The lentil soup was delicious. The MASGOUF was really good--crispy charred flavourful fish, and the HALF CHICKEN was perfectly succulent. Served with really nicely seasoned basmati saffron rice. Really big entrees for the price. 10/10 recommend and would go back!
