Very yummy sushi, the crab rangoon is seasoned in a very unique way that made me feel like I was eating a steak rangoon. The sushi burritos aren't the biggest but the ingredients are high quality so the deliciousness made up for the size. I absolutely love the jalapeño mayo and sweet lava sauce!
Where and how do I start my review for my favorite sushi restaurant in Tampa? Even when the staff is busy as can be, they’re very attentive. Portions and flavors are perfect and consistent, the atmosphere is very chill. Since Covid, they have partitions between tables, it’s given it such an intimate feel, and they can be moved to accommodate your party. I love this place for lunch dates, but I wouldn’t bring a group of 6/more unless you want to sit outside. Their patio is romantic and breezy with fairy lights, fans/heaters to keep you comfortable, and the wait staff is still very much on top of refills even when you sit out there. They were closed for a minute there but I am waiting very patiently to come back and order my favorite crab rangoons and sushi. Lots of good memories had been made within the four walls of the restaurant and can’t wait to be back again already!
Wow! One of the best sushi places around! Definitely coming back. 10/10 would recommend
The food here is absolutely fantastic and the pairings were very well thought out. It took a lot of self-restraint not to over eat because of how delicious everything was. I am not a fan of Krab Rangoon from places I have tried them at and the ones here were so good. I will warn you that the wait is really long. We almost left but glad we stuck it out. That would typically mean I would have rated it lower but between the attentiveness of the staff and the quality of the food, I did not think it would have been fair. I will probably get it to go next time but can't wait to dig in again ?
Awesome sushi and good price too. As a vegetarian, I like that they have a unique roll that isn’t just a typical cucumber and asparagus roll. Fiancée says the fish rolls are great. When they’re busy it can be REALLY busy but most nights we have no issue
We came here for a long business lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The staff was super friendly and helpful and were very conscious of keeping is safe. We tried several of the sake cocktails which were all subtle and interesting, especially the lychee and the cucumber ones. The spicy tuna nachos were like guacamole packed with tuna and were fantastic with extra crispy house-made chips. The Honolulu roll was surprisingly good--it's made with tempura shrimp, pineapple and coconut, so I was skeptical, but it may have been my favorite. Almost like a dessert sushi! The Geisha was my second favorite of the three specialty rolls we tried. It may have been the unagi sauce that did it.I left feeling pretty stuffed and satisfied and would definitely go back to try more things in their menu. Very much recommended!
I got three different rolls and they kind of tasted like store bought sushi. I'm not sure if it was because I had my order delivered, but I was not completely satisfied. The sauces are good. I don't like their soy sauce packets, the liquid is very thin and tasteless. I wouldn't deliver again, but I might try dining in to see if there's a difference.
Terrible service. If you sit outside because the dining room is at capacity, expect to get forgotten. You should just wait for a table indoors or better yet, get back in the car and leave. The patio is located near the dumpster by the way. Ordered hot tea because the temperature dropped for a table of 4 and the waiter apologized because they only had 3 tea cups! In the whole restaurant! Never bothered to bring out another cup throughout our long wait. Never bothered to refill drinks until we talked with a different employee and asked them toward the end of our visit. Never offered to move us indoors as others left even though we had young children. Never even began to make our food until we went inside to inquire! Waited an extremely long time. The kids bento box teriyaki chicken isn’t very good, a waste of time and money. The sushi was good but not enough to overcome the service. So many other options, skip the aggravation.
Amount of salmon they put in salmon avocado roll is awesome. It feels like other places put one piece of salmon and these people put twice more. That was nice :)
We visited the Waters location, for music night. Came for the crab rangoon grilled cheese, but they apparently arent offering it anymore which was disappointing. But had a few other rolls and cocktails. Sake cocktails were very good and affordable. They do a lot of fun things like classes and a heart shaped roll for vday. Volcano roll was delicious and Honolulu sunset.
