This is THE best IHOP I've been to since I left NJ!! Pattie was our waitress and she was great. The pancakes were PERFECT (light, fluffy, perfectly round, golden brown - just like in the menu). Pattie gave us soft butter. Just a really fantastic experience.
Less than 1/3 of the tables are occupied and they still need us weight 15 minutes before seating us acting like they were busy. However there seems to be several employees it doesn't seem to be a situation of lacking employees this is just lacking a good management table and
Where do I start. The staff seemed to be a little hostile with each other. Food was stacked up on the order station getting cold. I ordered 2x2x2. The bacon was under cooked and the pancakes were tough. The were horrible. How does IHOP screw up pancakes When I told the manager, he chuckled and asked me if I wanted more. I said no just take it off my bill. Granted he did take my meal charge off. Will never eat here again.
1st of all to experience the type of visit I had you have to have Donna as your server.. she is a human friendly, attentive, and efficient. Food is good and was prepared to my liking as well as being hot. This establishment is my preferred breakfast location in Tampa.
We were traveling back to Georgia and we decided not to eat at the hotel. So we stop at this IHOP location…big mistake. The eggs were cold and the bacon. The waitress brought a new “eggs” and “bacon”…nope…I know they used the microwave to heat up! The food was supposed be a combo meal $10.99, but the waitress charged us $8.99 for one waffle…she said she remove the egg and bacon?…the worst breakfast ever?! And the coffee taste like water. Never again!
Very terrible food. Coffee tastesd bitter and old. Ice Tea was not good at all so we got Pepsi. Chicken nuggets were well over cooked. We waited quite a while after being seated and there may have been 6 tables occupied so there were not a whole lot of customers in there. Not happy at all. And we are really not that hard to please.
This I-Hop was a breath of fresh air for me and my family. It was clean and our waitress was all over it. She was great! Food was spot on and quick. This visit earned back a lot of respect for I-Hop. Well done!
Consistently rude, snarky and lazy staff. We’ve learned to avoid this location over the years, but occasionally our family will stop in this place. Then we’re immediately reminded why we haven’t been there in so long. You can’t even walk in and ask about the wait time without feeling like you’re bothering someone. Do better.
We stayed in Tampa for a week, since covid it seems that none of the hotels offer much more then packaged cold breakfast sandwiches or cold cereal, ugh. I need a GOOD breakfast! Finally found one here at IHOP. We ate here several times during our stay. Always ordered the classic breakfast sampler, which was perfect. 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 slices of ham, 2 sausages, 2 pancakes and hashbrowns. Service was always quick and polite. I will say that it was quite chilly in the booths though. Would definitely go back the next time we are in Tampa.
We went to this location after 9pm and when we got there the waitress told us that they only took carry out orders. The sign on the door says they close at 10 pm. There was nothing about only carry out from 9-10pm. I don't understand if you are open and there are people sitting in the restaurant eating why would you not seat customers to make money. You not only lost money tonight but you lost 2 customers who will tell people they know not to eat here.
