We had a great experience at this location. After a full day at the local entertainment, we-a party of 12 decided to sit down and have late night food from this location. It has been several years since enjoying IHOP, and this location did not let us down. This location is easy to find and offers plenty of parking. The store was clean inside and out, and the restrooms were well stocked and clean. Our server was prompt, friendly, and mindful of our needs. The food was fresh and was served at the typical amount of time it would take to prepare 12 meals. Prices were very affordable for the experience. Thank you IHOP for taking care of us, and we look forward to our next visit.
You would think for the location of this breakfast franchise you would have some DECENT professionalism but that is far from it. I came into this establishment looking for some quality breakfast food to fill my hunger. I was greeted at the door by what seems to be 4-5 servers/hosts who were bantering about who should take me as their guest between themselves as if it was a nuisance to even seat me. My actual server who finally attended to me was Devon, very respectful gentleman who did his best but unfortunately was not enough to save my sour experience here. We were given dirty silverware that Still had food stuck in between the fork and residue on the spoon and knife. I flagged down a different server by the name of “Ari” who gave me the excuse of “my bad sometimes we forget about some of the dirty ones.” That’s one of the worst things you can tell a customer as you now begin to wonder what other things they could’ve forgot? As she brought us a new set she then proceeded to have an attitude after we said we didn’t need anything else as if she was verbally fishing for a back and forth exchange which was uncalled for. She than yelled back at our server to tend to us once again making it seem WE we’re the issue. Once our food arrived the quality was a solid 4/10. You can tell the lack of effort that was actually put into the food from the kitchen staff which was very disappointing. My partner was also missing a food item of hash browns that we never received after letting Devon known of the issue. While eating, the servers and hosts decided to sit in the empty booths and have a full blown conversation about their personal lives loud enough for me to hear everything they had going on. There’s a time and place to discuss such matters but sitting in an empty booth behind customers is not the right move! Definitely will not be coming back here and advise anyone not to at all.
IHOP is always delicious, service was good and the food came out very fast! Had an enjoyable visit!
I loved IHOP. The breakfast choices were unbelievable and they have a special menu for seniors. Check this place out.
I'm only responding because for the first time in 20 or more years, I was told by an IHOP employee that i had to dine-in to enjoy those delicious pancakes. Well, the problem? I planned on ordering out for my amazing wife on mother's day and didn't have my wife with me. I'm through with IHOP. And besides, it's a heck of a lot more personal and cheaper to cook my own.
As a business owner myself, I love to support local businesses. However, I know how important it is to keep up with maintenance and appearance. It's one of the first things customers see and can make or break their opinion of your business. I was disappointed with the poor level of maintenance at this Ihop Carrollwood Dale Mabry Hwy, location. The entrance sidewalk was a complete mess and the windows were filthy. Inside, the floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in days. While the food and service were good, the overall poor level of maintenance indicates that this business is not well-run. This poor maintained appearance unfortunately reflects poorly on the business as a whole. I hope this feedback reaches the right people so that corrective action can be taken. The impression i got from manager Tom was that he didn't care. sad to say, this poor maintenance led to my poor experience. Tom never once came to my table, and when i did speak to him, it was clear that he wasn't interested in my concerns. as a result, i left feeling frustrated and disappointed. poor maintenance is something that can easily be fixed, but it's sadly something that Tom doesn't seem to care about.
We used to come here for breakfast every now and then for a couple of years. The waitresses were usually nice and would make pleasant conversation, the prices great for the amount of food we got, and the food was delicious. On the downside, almost every time I went to order a seasonal item it was out of stock. Just about every single time, without fail. Also, the staff are nice but they are sometimes shorthanded. We've seen a couple customers not seated for so long they just leave. Docking a point for that, but still a great place when you have a server notice you.
Waited at our table for 15-20 minutes. The manager took our drink order. No server ever came to greet us. Some sort of acknowledgment would have been good , even just to pop by and say “hi I’ll be with you in a moment” SOMETHING! We ended up leaving.
The last time I went to IHOP, we waited over 30 minutes after being seated and never got waited on. We ended up leaving and going to Waffle House. This time we went to this location and the said they were closed. It was 8:00 PM. So much for 24 hours. We ended up going to village Inn. We never go back to IHOP. There are better places to eat.
Went into the bathroom for my app side job inspecting the bathroom and overall cleanliness of the restaurant and. Took pics of three bugs i then quietly told severe key word quietly the the manager big behind comes out like he’s going to war with three guys yelling about the situation then ran up on my table with screws saying that is what I saw if that’s a that’s case I took a picture of three things one definitely has eyeBut whatever running up on my table with my kids on it say that eight year old telling me she never wants to come back because she’s scared of him yelling
