This is still the best IHOP in Tampa. The food is prepared properly and comes out hot! The service is hit or miss with some of the waitresses being phenomenal and others could use a little direction. Overall we would recommend and will be going back!
Our waitress was very attentive and offered excellent advice on food selections. The chicken was extremely tender and cooked to perfection. The seafood lasagna was incredible. Would highly recommend IHOP.
Who knew they were open when everyone closes? Our server was amazing and chef too. Loved the food, fresh .. very cold inside. Bring a jacket and smiles
We chose IHOP because our favorite restaurant closed. Everyone was nice even though they were short handed. The server could have been a bit more knowledgeable about the menu. But overall it was fine.
When we first entered, the young lady in front was talking loudly to the cook with her back to us for a good 5 minutes, and the cook whom was looking directly at us didn't even tell her. Then the server name Charmaine came. She was pleasant. She gave us a menu and seated us. The whole time we were there, Charmaine was hospitable. The other lady continued talking loudly our entire meal. Once our food arrived, the sautéed onions and mushrooms were burnt, and the amount of mashed potatoes was a kids portion. I was not satisfied AT ALL. If I knew how to post a picture I would show the burnt onions and mushrooms
First time going to an IHOP in a while. Overall, I was impressed. The decor of the restaurant gives off an old-school, road trip vibe. Our waitress was the only one available, but handled our experience very well. I had the Biscuits and Gravy meal. It was better than I had anticipated. The sides were bland at first, but can be enhanced with salt and pepper. Overall, a great experience. Would come back again.
Ehhh I mean it’s definitely not good, but it’s not… horrible. We sat down and it took over 10 minutes for our order to even be taken. Definitely not somewhere to go for a quick breakfastedit: okay I have to give them credit where credits due, slow start, but got the food out quickly, it was delicious and the servers were very apologetic for the slow start. Overall not a horrible place for cheap, good food
I would like to give a better rating but our waitress was so rude!!!!..my niece is disable and this lady white w/ black hair maybe in her late 40 or early 50 wearing a ponytail..I wish I would've gotten her name but we didn't!! she kept rolling her eyes sort of throwing the plates on the table and ignoring us when we tried to get her attention!!..the food was good but her poor service gave us a bad!!!! Taste!!!
Good food and good service
Being going to this IHOP for over 20 years. The service has being going downhill for years now. These server was the worst yet. Once we finished placing the drinks order. My wife looked at the sweeteners container and noticed that there wasn't any sugar. She told the lady. We will need some sugar to.she literally said, oh I will get you some sugar. She pile up like 2 pound of sugar on the center of the table. Then when we place the food order she act like she couldn't understand a word we were saying. I told her look we just came in here to grab something to eat. I don't know what is with your day but let's not make this a personal affair. And just take my order. Or should I get some one else. No I got you. I think she understood. That we were not the enemy. But you got to do a better Job at managing this place.
