Pictured is the chicken sandwich. The menu includes a wide variety of breakfast items, hamburgers, and sandwiches. The ownership reopened this brand which is over 100 years old, and also owns the famous Columbia restaurant. The decor is pretty standard for the diner type of restaurant. On this visit, our server was sara, and the service was excellent. Our food portions were quite large and the food was delicious. In particular, the chicken sandwich was fabulous. The sandwich included perfect size sliced pickles, which tended to the sweet side. The chicken cutlet, was prepared in a chicken fried chicken style. The bun was properly toasted and buttered. The pancakes at this restaurant are enormous, and they serve authentic maple syrup, rather than the industrialized high fructose corn syrup seeing that many breakfast joints. For the breakfast items, an omelette is usually an omelette, but I must admit the Omelette prepared was excellent. They also serve a wide variety of pies. I had the opportunity to try the banana cream pie, which is quite good and not overly sweet.
Parking was an issue, well visited, beautiful location in Tampa, surrounded by other eateries and shops. Wasn't the best burger or meal, yet I thank Jonathan for his service. Staff very friendly and helpful
I order the POX burger, fries, and a chocolate milkshake. POX is their signature burger with pickles anions and their secret sauce. The secret sauce tastes like pickled beets, was icky i was expecting an aioli based sauce. The fries were thick cut and the milkshake had a funky taste. I won’t be back. Made me mourn my decision to give this a try over the plethora of restaurant options in Tampa.
Goody Goody Burgers keeps it simple and does it right. Fresh eggs and fruits. Quality food served by friendly staff at a reasonable price. The place is clean and welcoming. If I were a local, I'd be a regular.
Been here twice and never like their hamburgers. It’s always dry and tasteless. They won’t cook any other way. If you like your hamburger rare or medium rare, you can forget about it. Only well done. Reservation is a joke. We made a reservation for 11:30am and didn’t get table until 11:55am. They kept seating party of 2 and 4 and these were walked in customers. They kept telling us it will be 10 minutes and after almost half an hour later we had a talk with a manager and they finally sat us down for party of 8. I only come here because some of my family members like eating here. Maybe I’ll try something different next time but not the hamburgers. Twice is enough for me. Or maybe just skip this place.BTW. Skip the double patties burger. They’re are the same size as the single patty burger. Ridiculous.Wish I had taken the pic of the double patties burger side by side with the single patty. Basically, single patty burger slice In half and they called double. Of course, they charged you more.Other reviews also mentioned about this double patties burger.
Great place! I ordered the Royale with Cheese because Pulp Fiction and it sounded good. I opted for onion rings, and the spicy ranch that comes with them is really good and not TOO spicy. The burger and rings were both delicious! I also like the retro vibes the decor brings.
Great food and top notch personnel!!
Our book club meet at Goody Goody's for breakfast / lunch 10:30 a,m, and since Goody Goody severs both all day this was a great place. The Cafe con leche and cuban toast fantastic! I ordered poached eggs on the side and they were perfect. Even the bowl was dry (no water) so when you crack your egg they don't swim in water. We had a party of 6 and we ordered everything from hamburgers to omelettes and everything was hot fresh and delicious! No room for pies, but we all brought a slice to go for later. The host and server were magnificent! Friendly and helpful!
Not from the area but was SO impressed with the food and friendliness of the staff! A definite place to visit!
