Guys the best buffet in Tampa. Basundi dessert makes me mouth watering. Amazing taste, Chef's here are awesome well trained. Huge crowd I have seen in front of the door, The person in the counter taking note of numbers and calling back the customers, Desi's are awaiting to have lunch in Godavari. Hands down the best Indian restaurant in town. The food is really good and we tried a lot of appetizers with their special Nuzved Mango yogurt lassi. I personally like the chicken tandoor and their Dum chicken biryani Hyderabadi style. The staff were doing there Service best and helped us choose the correct dishes..
Mostly crowded all the time on weekends.we waited for 40mins almost to get a table. Especially Godavari buffet was Amazing. Me and my wife enjoy the food, it's delicious, We love Basundi, Non veg food lovers must try Godavari, Appetizers are so yummy. Worth for the price. The best food in Tampa, Appreciated staff
We were a group of 6, came here all the way from Sarasota after hearing some great recommendations of this place. The ambience was unique and the place looks clean. Coming to the food, the server recommended us to try the raju gari kodi vepudu and lollipops as starters, which were really good. Simply superb Raju gari special chicken biryani. Would definitely be backLove the place..

This is by far the best South Indian restaurant in Tampa! Dont waste your time and money trying other restaurants, especially if you want to experience Indian food for the first time. Best Goat Pulao, Great Biryani options, amazing vegetarian and non veg plates...Chicken is juicy and delicious in every form they cook it! Definitely, my favorite restaurant.
Yesterday night I was with my family here. Service is great. I asked jawahar the best dosa to clear my hunger. He suggested paper masala, very very huge what I receive. Chutnes was goodBest south Indian dishes can be found in Godavari. One service man handling everything , I think they need one more person. Overall goodFood and service.
The biryani certainly was awesome. Long grain rice, well cooked chicken pieces, mildly spiced extremely flavorful. I recommend you guys if you are in Tampa, Florida. You must visit the Godhavari Tampa restaurant. I tasted almost every restaurant’s biryani but I felt Hyderabad biryani.
Food quality definitely has to be improved! We love Herndon, VA Godavari..,please get recipes from them. Goat is so hard, you've to use hammer to break it. Overall a lot of stuff has to be improved!Be Cautious: You will get only boiling hot water in the restroom!
The water bottle concept was very great. Service is awesome. These people are strictly following Covid rules.. plastic spoons and sealed water bottles. Jawahar was so good. Service and food both are awesome... Buffet bindass. Loved it
