This place never disappoints and serves amazingly cold filtered water. They offer wonderfully crispy chicken and amazing noodles. We usually order family style with the bone in and boneless chicken and a side of loaded fries. They offer multiple unique sauces and we get them in the side so we can mix and match. Every server we have encountered has been friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Don’t skip this place, we found it by accident and return every time we visit Tampa.
Delicious food! Loved the app (not on the official menu but divine). Chicken was seasoned well and moist. Will be eating here often!
Man do they make a mean mocktail! I personally believe anyone that can make something to drink taste delicious without using alcohol is a genius…and the same goes for vegetables. Gangchu is fun, personable, and current. A great representation of the new wave of Restaurants in the Tampa eating scene. They have some great vegetarian options bursting with authentic flavors and some of the biggest chicken wings to exist! We have been twice and each time was exciting and super pleasant. The kitchen crew is definitely putting out some really good plates of food. As much as I wanna keep the thoughts of my city small….Tampa does need more places like this! Until then: Gangchu keep showing out!
A fun little Korean fusion eatery with tasty chicken wings and interesting sauces. They were flavorful and meaty with crispy skin. The chicken sandwich was good but the loaded fries are forgettable. Overall, a fun place to try. Menu pricing is slightly overcharged, be forwarded that there is a 10% surcharge, and it can be crowded as the place isn’t very big (and slim parking).
I had read the reviews of Gangchu and was dying to try their wings after arriving to Tampa by way of Chicago. It did not disappoint! I sat in the back patio with my pup. I appreciate the style: modern, clean lines. The service was excellent-- my server, Kyle, was Johnny on the spot. I ordered the boneless wings with Sweet Chili sauce and loaded fries along with a HH beer. Perfect combo. The loaded fries were addictive, the chicken arrived super crispy, hot and perfect balance of sweet and spicy.

Very good, but a few things keeping this from a 4 star review: the cheese sauce on the fries was processed (for a chef-driven fusion place I'd have expected scratch-made). Boneless chicken wings seemed like cut up chicken thighs, which isn't a knock, but some had overcooked smaller sections that were too chewy. No pickles on side as advertised. Galbi sando was great but a little greasy. Pros: service was great, outside patio, tvs inside and out. Nice atmosphere/design. Clean restrooms. Skinny fries. Gangchu ranch and gochujang buffalo were really tasty. Food arrived very quickly.
What a wonderful meal. I loved you. The boneless chicken with the Korean BBQ and Sweet Chili were so tasty. The beef and spear rib dishes were so tasty. My server was fast and friendly and so nice. I will definitely return.
The food was great! We had the beef boujee, kimchi fried rice, and the wings! Everything was really good. The atmosphere inside and out was really nice We loved the outdoor seating food. We would definitely go here again overall great experience.
Sadly, both times I've been with elder parents and have been made to feel less than welcome! This time, I witnessed the staff making fun of us behind the bar. (because they asked for extra sauce) Won't give them a 3rd try!
