Very overpriced and underwhelming. We were the only people in the dining area but the bar was full and quite loud. I would not recommend for dinner but maybe if you just want a Martini at the bar then that's the place for you.

We like to try new restaurants, and thought the menu looked OK and the few reviews said they enjoyed the restaurant. The restaurant is divided into 2 sections. A bar/lounge area with hightop seating, and a nice restaurant area with tables for 4. For a Saturday evening at 7:30 PM, there was not much of a crowd. Our wait person was attentive and friendly. My wife did have to ask if there were any special dishes for the evening The green apple martini's lacked the hint of any green apple flavor. Nor did they have any cinnamon sugar to go around the rim of the glass. The lump crab cakes (2 for $19) were rather small. Not like Seasons 52, which I always enjoy. There was no sugar or sugar substitute for the iced tea - very poor planning. The house salad did not have any cucumbers. They said they were out of them. if they knew they were out of cucumbers, they could have gone to Publix or Walmart - less than 2 miles away - prior to them opening for the evening. The Eggplant Napoleon (really overpriced for 4 slices of eggplants, 1 slice of yellow squash and 1 slice of zucchini) had too much breading on the eggplant and grilled too long, the yellow squash part of the dish was not cooked. They gave us 50% off that one item. My culinary forte (as a hobby) is Italian cuisine (I trained in a restaurant outside of Verona) and I am asked often to teach people how to make eggplant parmesan and other dishes. I offered the manager some of my experience, but she kind of snickered. My wife said her seared beef filet tips were done nicely, although too much gorgonzola cheese. She said the same about the amount of gorgonzola with the house salad. We are going to wait a few months before trying the restaurant again. Right now, I will not recommend for friends.

Two other groups of people in the restaurant. 3 people at the bar…Very bright. It was good but not great, however our server, Aspen was a delight.

Highly recommend. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Filet was one of the best I've had and Risotto was too. Friendly staff was always circling back around checking on our table and drink needs.

Great experience! Service and Bartenders were excellent! Great food and price point. Salmon was cooked to perfection and the Beef Wellington tacos were excellent! Would recommend highly! We'll definitely be back!

Good food. Beef tips appetizer and sliced ribeye steak sandwich were great. Eddie was an attentive waiter and the manager stopped by to chat. Good experience. We'll do it again.

We had read a review that states they don’t know their identity and that is true. Appears that one half to be bar and grill with the other side being more of a traditional dinning room. Food is over priced but prepared good. Wife got caprese salad and it had three small pieces of tomato for $9, not worth it. We said we would give it a try and we did. I’m pretty sure we will not eat their again

I have to admit, after seeing so many negative reviews, we were hesitant to go. But I am so glad we did. While the portions were on the small size, the food was excellent. Our calamari was perfect & the seafood bisque was a little salty for my taste but the fish in it was very tasty & delicious. The steak looked small but was filling and cooked to perfection. The best part of it all was the incredible and personable attention we received from the manager & staff. The manager even brought out a sample of a drink he thought we might like and he was so right! I hope the manager takes the concerns that we mentioned to him and follows through. He said they are doing things to improve the menu so I hope people give this place a try. And if this manager is working when you go, he’ll make sure your visit is a pleasant one.

Excellent! My new favorite place. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Recent reviews made us apprehensive about this newer Carrollwood village place but we were quite happy with our visit. Service was prompt and courteous… kudos to Eddie! Our appetizer of fried calamari arrived quickly as did the last minute order of Caesar salad. Our entrees of osso buco and filet mignon (rare to medium rare) were perfectly executed. The generous serving of veal shank fell easily from the bone. Both entrees came out piping hot. The delicious dessert of hot chocolate chip cookie arrived in its own little cast iron skillet fresh from the oven. The only flaw of our meal was the slightly chewy calamari. The prices are bit on the high side for appetizers given the portion size. Ambiance is a mix of art gallery and sports bar—interesting display of the owners personal collection and multiple TVs. However the noise level was minimal and allowed for intimate conversation. We wish the Gallery to do well!
