FitEx's menu features so many delicious, healthy options. Their delivery service is reliable and convenient. Their prices are fair. But perhaps most importantly, their customer service is exceptional. When we needed to end our subscription, it was the most painless customer service experience I've ever had. Can't recommend them highly enough.
It’s almost been a year since I started using FitEx. During the summer I saw a documentary about food waste and I knew how much food I waste. I love using FirEx! I can stop for a week or 2 if I want. I always get excited when I restart. The food is so good, so many choices. I save money over all, eat better. I just love it!
We have been using this meal service for a few months to support family while my father-in-law is in and out of the hospital. We order meals when we travel in from out of state, and stock up for my mother-in-law. Not having to think about grocery shopping or meal prep during this difficult time is such a relief. And we're eating tasty healthy meals. Portions are plentiful, nice to be able to select keto. We tried a couple different services and these guys aren't the cheapest, but having everything online is a huge help for us.This week I didn't unpause in time to place an order for next week when my husband will be there. I sent an email late Wednesday night and got a call first thing Thursday morning - they were able to unpause and manually get the order processed. So grateful for this. Try them!
I started getting these meals back in 2019 because they were easy to manage with my school schedule. Now 2 years later I have started to get these meals again because of the vast variety of meals they offer, along with the great quality you get with all of the meals. The owner is super nice and is always looking for ways to improve or create different meals which is where I think they separate themselves from other meal prep companies who only offer the same food options week to week. I have not had a bad meal that I didn't enjoy yet, but my personal favorites from Fitex are the enchilada bowl, cheeseburger bowl, and the Shepards pie bowl. These meals are so good I have to hide them from my girlfriend so she doesn't eat them.
Awesome company and the meals have so much variation and quality. The selecting process is simple and pick up is a easy too. I actually shopped around before deciding to go with them about 4 months ago. Mike and his staff won me over as I think they do with many other people in the bay area. I run a business and have a 15 meal plan and the amount of time it saves me and how it helps deter unhealthy on the road cravings are some other reasons why I like it.
Honestly the food here is so good and always fresh, there’s also always a different variety of meals to choose from. It’s been a big help on days when I forget to meal prep or even on days when I don’t feel like it! The macros are labeled on the container which makes tracking your food still possible. 10/10 always!!
My original review was unfair, and I have decided to up the rating to 3 stars. To first emphasis the positives with Fitex the food was amazing, and the ease of ordering meals was very convenient. The delivery was always spot on and the texts letting us know when to pick our meals and when the deliveries were made are very thoughtful. Now the negative. Although I still feel the same regarding the portion sizing, I did make a mistake on choosing my original rating. Also, it has nothing to do with whether or not I can afford it and was inappropriate for the owner to put down a paying customer but rather it has to do with the cost to benefit ratio in regard to the portion sizing. I chose 4 meals a day for seven days even if I chose 5 meals which is the max according to the website the calorie count (being on average 400 Cal per meal) is not sufficient for a healthy diet, for two people that is. Again, this was a factor because my (small) wife is a new mother who is breastfeeding and needs the calories, and I am an active average sized male, and the meal sizes definitely were not enough to be considered a proper meal. When my wife says she is still hungry and of course I am too, that’s when you know it’s not enough to be considered a dinner or even a lunch. Although I love the variety and the taste and the whole premise of Fitex, I cannot justify going grocery shopping to supplement my premade meals. Lastly, yes, the website states the calorie count of the meals and that was my oversight when purchasing them but after reviewing others reviews, many other reviewers agree the portion sizes are just too small. After I spoke with my wife about the review, I was going to up the review to 4 stars, but the owners callous comment kept it at 3.
I have tried multiple meal prep companies and Fitex takes the crown! With a large variety, super fresh food items, innovative menu, and great pricing I feel like you can't go wrong. I have been with Fitex now for 4 years and couldn't be happier with my meal regiment!
This rating is based on the food "so far" but it's only been my 3rd day of it. I will update after a week but I was excited about this so much that I couldn't wait. First off the food is so amazing every item so far I have tasted has not disappointed. The customer service is awesome as well they really do try and help you out. Very nice and informative
