We’ve been going to First Watch for several years and their breakfast meals have always been consistent. My favorite is the ham and gruyere omelet, which unlike omelets at your typical Village Inn or Bob Evans is not heavy and greasy. First Watch is always busy on the weekends and this location in particular usually has long waits.I took off one star only because seating and service was slower than usual. We checked in online and were given a wait time of 20-30 minutes, which ended up being 45. After being seated, it took another 30 minutes to get our food. While I understand there may be staffing issues which are the norm at many restaurants nowadays, it still is worth noting. The parking lot at this location can also be very annoying though that isn’t any fault of the restaurant.
The best place to go for a reasonably priced breakfast or lunch! They are the leader! I’ve also had two family members work for FW and it is a very well run business. You will NOT be disappointed.
I visited first watch this morning. I have never had any issues, concerns or complaints.Unfortunately this morning it was a really bad experience in terms of customer service; I left the restaurant before I could be seated.The hostess young lady ; definitely left a sour taste on my mouth. I was unable to get her name ; on my arrival I said good morning per usual, she asked a couple their information, didn’t make an eye contact with me , walked away, returned, I stood there waited patiently for her to acknowledge a brown child was there. I finally made her aware I had been standing there ; proceeded to request a table , no apology was offer from her.I noticed she was so nice to another couple, interesting enough a Hispanic family arrived approached her , same treatment like the one I received from her- soon after that another family arrived she was extremely nice to them. Of course this family was not brown or Hispanic. I was sad , upset, helpless and embarrassed for her behavior and racism display, this young lady made this nice restaurant’s front line look so bad.I will never return to this location and definitely condemn her behavior towards people of color and different ethnicity. I am a proud black Hispanic middle age that works in the customer service field - who felt disrespected by a young lady who doesn’t know any better and maybe shouldn’t be working as the first face of a reputable establishment.First Watch — I am asking you to please educate your employees to be more sensitive , accepting and respectful to all ethnicities. Our server was great but rest of staff, are racist! I explained my allergy to the server, he was absolutely fine about it. When he went to the cooks they burned my food and sent the rudest waitress to give me my extra burnt waffle. I understand people of color like well cooked food but that’s only if we ask. IF YOU ARE OF COLOR DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO AND RUIN YOUR DAY AT THIS LOCATION!
The omelette a were so light and fluffy, the meats and veggies were fresh and delicious, loved the grits! You can read about it on my Facebook page the food guy!
Had the BEST brunch with my BF and sister! I loved the gluten free options and my avocado toast was delicious. The bacon we started with was a perfect addition to all of our meals. The service was great and we will be back ASAP!
Always my favorite for brunch. Staff is always friendly with great suggestions for breakfast when it's too hard to chose! Food is always fresh and very good tasting. Never had a bad meal here!

super nice waiters and a big menu, where everyone can find sth. The blueberry pancake was very good, although I prefer smaller pancakes :D
On 122 I went into the first watch restaurant in carrollwood and I always go there with me and my partner and we ordered two of the traditional breakfast with meat scrambled eggs and bacon with home fries twice we have got it on meals and it was messed up the bacon not cooked all the way both times the potatoes weren't done they were very hard couldn't eat the meal the second time this happened I called and wanted to speak to the manager I was placed on hold after 25 minutes and waited 15-20 minutes more and no manager so I hung up call back again tried it four more times the phone just rang and this was not doing the busy hour finally got picked up again 13 minutes later and a lady said that she would get the manager to please hold on so I waited 15 more minutes the manager never came I hung up and I called back seven more times and no manager and no pickup I don't know what happened to this store but I was never treated like this before so me and my partner just decided not to go to that store for a while I think they got a problem there with the management or something I don't know but yeah we're not going to be going there for a while I'll go somewhere else for breakfast they ain't the only dogs in town though just want to drop it a little note and let you know what's going on there very dissatisfied not once but twice so just want to let you know bye.
