Great restaurant at the outskirts of downtown Ybor! Very generous with the servings, not too expensive - and the ceviche was superb!
Churrasco. One of my favorite meats. Want some? Visit El Puerto. The original cut, no slight of hand, cooked how you choose and delicious. The menu is a smorgasbord of traditional Peruvian and Argentinian fare. Can't wait to get my mitts on some of the seafood soup and rice. I had their blood sausage (morcilla) and it was amazing. So many tempting delights, my only regret...how did it take me so long to find. In the back recesses of Ybor, where one seldom travels, it's across the street from Jimmy's Tacos. They also have free parking across the street.Reviewer note:Skirt steak in Florida is going through some unpleasant manipulations. It started in latin groceries where a cheap cut called flap is being passed off as skirt. Outside skirt is the best cut, inside skirt follows and then flap meat. Be aware of where you get your churrasco, and make sure your not cheated.
Consistently one of my favorite Ybor/Tampa resturants. The Churasco Skirt steak is exceptional and I have never had a bad meal. Dont let the unremarkable exterior fool you. This is one of those places you will drive right past if you don't know it is there but well worth the stop.
Nice place to try Argentinian and Peruvian food, you can enjoy good beers and the food such as Parrillada, papas a la huaincana, empanadas etc. However, the service and the servers attitude towards the customer (they are hurrying u up to order, and pay quickly to leave) is not the best and Our food took 45 min to arrive to the table when there were just 4 tables eating.

The waitstaff was very courteous and accommodating to our party of 9. The variety of food choices was great. Our choices all turned out to be good ones and all were very tasty and filling. Note a cup of soup is very large, like a serving bowl size. That with the great rolls would be a meal in itself. The meat dishes were good as were the pasta dishes. My only complaint is that the flan was a bit rubbery and not as silky as I am used to, and didn’t have much yummy sauce. They brought me another one but sadly it was still the same. The sangria was very good.
