Service was great! Food was delicious and we ordered Empanadas for appetizers sooo good, lomo saltado and barria ? everything was delicious & the girls were so professional and always made sure we were good. Definitely recommend this place.
Not pet friendly even though only dog is a Yorkshire well-behaved and trained. Also, the restaurant was literally empty. Not coming again!! We drove long enough to get a NO as an answer
They need to give a better customer service food is good bud the owner was can a Rude I’m from Colombia an I think the owner is from Venezuela nothing wrong with that but if you are going to have a place that you sale Colombian food you need to be nice to Colombian people that will be 80% of your customers that want to try it out and we usually are can of pain in the but we like to ask stupid questions about food but you can’t get mad about it is part of the business to answer customers with out let that bother you I been working in the hospitality industry for 25 years and I know how it’s !!!
My wife and I were hooked after our first visit to El Cafetal, the authentic Colombian food was phenomenal everything was seasoned perfectly. The pastries were also extremely fresh with a very good selection. If you are a lover of coffee, do yourself a favor and have a cup at El Cafetal you will not be disappointed, as far as I am concerned it’s the BEST coffee in Tampa Bay. The owners and staff are very attentive and friendly, we will definitely continue to go back after finding this hidden gem!!

Definitely the best Columbian restaurant in Tampa Bay. Very good food, most delicious food I ever ate and I'm half Latino. I recommend that if you like Spanish dish then you should surely go there. By the way, the waiters and waitress are very friendly and keep coming back to check on you.
Absolutely amazing Cuban Breakfast.
I visited the new location today and it was so delicious!I had the #18 Sobrebarriga a La Plancha Encebollada and a sweet cafe con leche.I used to walk to their old location. But, now I’ll happily drive to come eat here!I’ve also had, and loved, their papas rellenas and their beef empanadas and love their bakery pastries as well!
Great food and service. I had the desayuno #1 and it tasted really great. The coffee here was delicious as well. Staff were friendly and fast.
Great place to eat, extremely clean, fresh food and baking goods made everyday. Lomo saltado is a must as well as all juices made on the spot
