Very cozy atmosphere and small restaurant. Definitely make a reservation as the wait times can get long. The sushi is really good and they also have specials.
We were in town and wanted to find a good sushi place. Not too far from our hotel. Very clean, warm atmosphere. We were immediately seated and the waitress (older woman ) was so friendly, funny and welcoming. Good prices, and the options were many. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our waitress even gave my boys a little 'origami souvenir' as she called it. Would definitely come back again if we were in the area. ?
Great place to eat sushi! We had an unfortunate very long wait but the quality of the food made it worth it. We spent a bit over $100 and everything we ordered was great including the the 3 different Japanese beers we tried , cant wait go back !
This is a very humble cozy place. The food has good quality and the presentation is definitely great. The server was pleasant and doing her best on a busy night. I loved that they have outside seating and allow dogs. I’m only giving 4 stars because out of 4 different specialty rolls, I didn’t really had a favorite. I will go again because I want to try more of their selection (I will give all the points to creativity, these are not your usual rolls) they have a Cheetos roll! Will be updating this review soon.
This place is sooooooo amazing. It is quite small and quaint, but that has never stopped us from being able to sit at a table or at the bar. The sushi is outstanding and the sake is equally as good. Highly recommend this place for a great night!
Amazing food and really cool vibe. Definitely feels like walking into a legit sushi shack in Japan!
We used to LOVE Ebisu, but it’s been declining and tonight’s experience totally ruined it for us.Take out orders over $70 are now subject to a 15% “service fee”, which is absurd given that $70 is basically the minimum we often spend for a sushi night for two adults. Apparently 8 basic rolls (that fit in 3 boxes placed in one bag) is an extra large order requiring additional care…. Except we got barely enough wasabi for those rolls, about half what we typically get of ginger, and a handful of terrible “soy sauce” (you know, the stuff that comes with an $8 combo meal from a Chinese restaurant and contains no actual soy). The “ginger salad” tasted like ground up carrot- watery and no zing to be found. The thimble of ponzu (for 50 cents) was a joke. If we are going to pay for take out- at least give us decent items beyond the rolls. And be up front with who is even getting the “service fee”.We are bummed to cross them off our list, but after a handful of meh experiences topped off with this one, we will go back to delivery from some Tampa classics.
By far Tampa's best sushi! The fish are so fresh and I can't stop thinking of their salmon sashimi. It pretty much melts in your mouth, it's wonderful. My current favorite roll is the super crunchy! Although I haven't had anything here that made me feel less than satisfied. I have been in person and ordered their food through UberEATS and both experiences are wonderful. The staff were so nice and the decor is adorable. They have both indoor an outdoor seating. There are water bowls for pups too if you chose to being them and eat outside. Check out how cool looking their website is too.
Amazing local sushi restaurant! Small inside, but we had no problem getting a table. The menu has a nice variety of classic sushi rolls and their own twist on new ones. Absolutely loved the super crunchy and Jabba the hut rolls as they had such tasty spicy tuna in them. Also highly recommend their green tea mochi ice cream afterwards. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.
Cute place with indoor and some outdoor front seating. The absolute best sushi around. The staff is phenomenal. Sushi is scrumptious. Specials are amazing. It's our favorite place!
