Great atmosphere. Great food.

Okay so this place does not give its full glory for the modest appearance of outside. The food was excellent and the staff was above and beyond amazing. Justin was our server and we could not have asked for a better personality. Not to mention the bartender on the second floor (I never asked her name but you WANT her trust me) was willing to accommodate above and beyond she helped to create a Virgin cocktail for one of us that was just as Fabulous as she was.Overall I would absolutely recommend the food here. The pancakes were light and fluffy, the steak was done to order and juicy and the drinks well. You need the drinks here!

Had a great lunch experience! Our server was super nice & helpful. Definitely service with a smile. Portions are generous here especially with the French toast! A must visit when in Tampa.

Had a long wait to be seated. The hostess said it would be 5 minutes but 15 minutes we were still waiting. A woman explained they were short staffed and service would be slow for the night, which was fine by us. However the food was such a let down. I ordered the Kentucky Colonel Bowl and my daughter ordered chicken tenders. Both of our chicken was super chewy and difficult to eat. My bread was literally rock solid. I informed the waitress and then knocked on it to show her how hard it was. She brought another biscuit that was somehow harder than the first. We ordered a brownie sundae for dessert and no one told us it had peanut butter in it. The menu didn’t say anything about it containing nuts. My daughter has severe nut allergy so we asked the waitress if it had nuts in it and she said she wasn’t sure and we couldn’t tell considering the brownies were buried in ice cream. We informed her of our daughters nut allergy and we waited for her to go ask someone else if it had nuts it took 10 minutes for her to come back. Meanwhile my daughters mouth was swelling confirming it did in fact have nuts and they didn’t think to include it on the menu or tell us. Smh. An all around disappointment.

Delicious high quality food and still affordable! The chips are amazingly thin, crispy, lite, airy, sugary, and salty with a hint of BBQ flavor.I'm from Albuquerque, so of course I had to try the Albuquerque burger. It was very tasty, high quality burger meat that was well cooked and the green chili, which is nearly impossible to find in Florida, was a nice flavored mild spice. I understand it's not the green chili spice Olympics here so I'm definitely okay with just the slight spice and green chili flavor.Great tasting cake pops as well.A nice modern, slightly steampunk, type of interior, very unique and cool.Definitely deserves the high rating, give it a try!

Wonderful Mother's Day brunch with my son and husband.Decided on a whim to venture out on Mothers Day of all days...well worth the trip.Wait was less than 20 minutes!Food was perfect. Started with and order of Monkey bread, which I would normally pass on, it was moist and not cavity inducing sweet. Then I ordered the Avocado toast...YUM!Which I got with, perfectly, poached eggs and cream cheese and Cheddar cheese grits....try them!Portions were good sized, service was quick and friendly.Looking forward to our next visit...Father's Day, maybe?

Went here for breakfast to meet some family. The coffee was good. The food was good. We sat upstairs and had a nice visit. You should add a more traditional eggs benedict offering.

How this restaurant landed up on so many blog's best brunch places in Tampa is beyond my understanding. I mean Tampa has so many amazing places to eat, this does not even come close to the amazing food we have had. I am pretty generous with my reviews, specially in the past 2 years. The pandemic has been tough on a lot of business and I don't want to make it worse by leaving a bad review. Unfortunately, I cannot give this restaurant more than 1 star. The food was not good, so much so that we left most of it. Here is a quick rundown of the dishes: BISCUITS - they were definitely not made in house, they were not even warm when they got to us. They were dry and were clearly just sitting in the kitchen before they were tossed on our plates. TACOS - the tacos themselves were ok, but they could definitely use more of the sauce and guacamole. It was a little dry and bland. BREAKFAST POTATOES - the potatoes were dry and barely warm. They were clearly sitting on the kitchen counter for a very long time. They definitely were not freshly fried and had a weird aftertaste to them. FRENCH TOAST - first of all, the french toast portion is HUGE. They are the biggest slices of bread I have ever seen, however they were also very dry from inside. The flavor was Creme Brulee, but all there was to it was 1 scoop of custard on top of some dry flavorless pieces of bread. The ambiance was underwhelming and the bleach used to clean the tables was overwhelming strong. The restrooms were a mess. The service was fine. Almost half of the restaurant was empty as they are understaffed. But the wait times are way too long and honestly I would not eat here again even if there was no wait.

I like Datz Nice restaurant Good comfort food But like so many businesses post C19 the service is struggling Sat a bar for quick bite mid week Ignored for 15 minutes and had to go Can't wait for staffing level to get back up to speed ?

All the food was fresh and delicious. A great menu with lots of great options. I highly recommend.
