Daily Eats has a retro feel with unique menu selections. Everything we ordered was delicious! We ordered the Egg sandwich with brioche bread, the Jersey Shore bagel and the Chef’s famous Cap’n Crunch French Toast. The portions were big and the price was reasonable. However we were expecting the Cap’n Crunch French Toast to have more flavor as we could barely taste the cereal. The burger was very juicy and had so much flavor! We never expected a burger bagel with cream cheese to taste so good! A must try for sure! Their home fries are really good too!On another note, our server was very friendly, sweet and attentive.
The best breakfast place ever!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The decor was so cute, sort of a beachy/vw bus/atomic age diner vibe. It made for a wonderful atmosphere, where everyone seemed to be in a great mood. It was pretty packed but we were seated right away. I’m sure there’s a wait on Saturday and Sunday though. But I definitely think it would be worth a half hour wait. Now most importantly the food was incredible!! You need to try the Cap’n Crunch French toast. It doesn’t just have chunks of dry cereal on top, it’s ground up enough to give the flavor but still add a little extra crunch (without cutting the roof of your mouth lol). It’s not overly sweet and is fantastic with or without syrup. I’m gonna be trying to recreate it until I have a chance to come back down. The Mexican omelette was delicious. The eggs were fluffy and all the ingredients were so fresh and went together perfectly. The blueberry pancake while simple was delicious as well. The little hint of cinnamon took it to the next level. The home fries were different than what we generally get but we absolutely loved them. And the everything bagel with cream cheese was delicious, toasted just enough, such a simple thing but it was done just right. I think you could order anything on the menu and be happy with it. I can’t wait to come back again and try new things (or maybe just get the French toast again).* Noise Sensitivity Warning* Because it’s delicious it was packed, so if you or someone you’ll be dining with have noise sensitivity issues you might want to sit outside. Or get a mimosa or two until the food comes lol jk but seriously it did help me.
We went for brunch. Nice porch, dog friendly. Fast attentive service. Had a Tijuana bowl very tasty. Parking available.
We had a lovely server & the food was delicious. There was a variety of breakfast items (we were there for breakfast) that are different than you find at other places. Yummy ?
Caught an early dinner after flight into TPA. Location is not far from the airport and family have a great meal. Loved the unique options and kids liked the tator tots and milk shakes. Friendly staff and great outside location for people watching in Hyde Park. Food reasonably priced with good portion sized.
Staff and food were great
Great young vibe. Great staff. Breakfast all day menu plus other options after 11 am. Great coffee! Food was fresh and delicious. Did not try their Capt’n Crunch French toast which seemed to be their signature dish but it looked great. Large number of options. Grits off the charts good.
Great retro feel with even better menu selections. My wife and I sat at the bar, both to get the full dinner experience, and to bypass the 35 minute wait time for a party of two. (Saturday around 1 PM).Our waiter/bartender was great, and made us feel very welcome. The hard part was having to watch all the food be made and brought out. Everything looked SO GOOD. It made it hard to decide, but we went with the Steak and Eggs breakfast bowl and the Egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich (pictured here). Both were outstanding and didn’t bite your wallet as much as the chain competition. I can’t wait to go back and try something else!
Able to go because of so many gluten free dishes. Bobbie our server was patient and answered all our questions. I loved everything about this place. Top notch!!!!!!!
This place was such a great find. I'd describe it as a modern-day dinner. The menu provides lots of healthy, delicious options. You can't help but want to return to try new delights. My family visited Tampa for Spring Break, and we found this spot our first night in town and kept coming back EVERY DAY! We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. All delicious. And I can't neglect to mention the staff!! We encountered quite a few of them on our many trips this week, and they all seem to enjoy their jobs and taking care of their clients. I will definitely stop by again on my next trip to Tampa... My pics aren't the best. -- I tried to snap at least 1 of my order of Captain Crunch French Toast -- I was too busy enjoying my food to take better pics, but trust me, this place is great!... Apparently, they are a part of a restaurant group (see pic 2). I also visited Green Lemon and had a good experience there as well. Excellent vibe at both locations.
