We love this place! Have been many times! The hosts are amazing, they were able to sit my wife and I rather quickly, even when we did not have a reservation. The drinks were great, of course! Our dinner was quite enjoyable, we had the portobello fries, shrimp bisque, raw oysters (fantastic!), the seafood pasta, the catch of the day, and the coconut creme brulee. Our only miss was with the catch of the day, it was a dish with scallops and asparagus, unfortunately it was too salty for my wife to enjoy, but it was nicely prepared, hence the missing star. They did comp half the dish, which is okay I guess, we tasted two of the scallops, same results. In any case, we had a wonderful time!

First - please make sure you park Valet. It's cheaper than the parking lot across from the restaurant :). absolutely a top 5 spot in the Tampa area for me. The ambiance in the restaurant, the bar seating, the drinks, and the appetizers are what make this place so amazing. I would HIGHLY recommend getting reservations otherwise you'll have to wait for a spot to sit at the bar. Some of my favorites include CW's Old Fashion, Grasshopper, Expresso Tini, and Oysters John D. Rockefeller. Be prepared to spend some money but SO worth it!

Went after dinner for a few drinks. This place is fantastic for any occasion. Classy yet relaxed. Nice live music, exceptional drink menu, and attentive staff! Their cocktails are amazing, costing about $14-15. The coconut crème brûlée was perfect. We were able to sit at the bar which was great, but if you want to sit at a table you need to book in advance and it’s totally worth it!!

This place is a must try. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is amazing. They had a piano player that was really good. It was a great date night for me and hubs. The food was great and drinks even better. Definitely check this place out.

It's one of the many unique bars/restaurants in Tampa and certainly worthwhile visiting. But do need to add that the food didn't jump out to me. It is however a great place to go for drinks

Went to celebrate my birthday ?? and it was a lovely spot. The lighting was dim, the food was tasty, and the whole experience was spectacular.Food pictured: Lobster Mac, Housemade Seafood Pasta, Brussel Sprouts, and Banana Foster ?My friend and I met CW herself as well as her family. She was delightful.I love the three huge canvases of Josephine Baker hanging on the wall by the piano ? and drum set ?. Those were my absolute favorite. Our waitress was extremely helpful and very attentive. She is a magnificent person with a great heart❤️.

From the valet out front to the host/hostess desk and the gentleman that open the doors you will be transformed. A vibrant atmosphere, music, talk and laughter. It’s a throwback to good times and great service. Never rushed or hurried for drinks or food you’ll sit back relaxed and overwhelmed. Service was spot on and the drink offerings plenty and excellent food choices. A decor with numerous art work and exposed brick walls reminiscent of old Tampa and speakeasy.

This place is something super special, from the cocktails to the food! The art deco vibe is amazing, and the jazz music makes this the perfect couple's dinner and drinks restaurant. Not a place you would bring kids but defiantly a date night out!

We had 2 friends in from out of town and have been wanting to go here for a while. I made the reservations a few months ago. The good, The cocktails were very good and our server was really on point and extremely friendly. Very cool atmosphere and I can see why they fill up soon. The bad, Three out of the four of us were super disappointed with our food. Risotto was super bland and over cooked to the point of not being edible. My dish the duck was nothing to write home about very average. Catfish was ok but the grits where mush. The Filet was cooked perfectly and was the winner of the night. All and all it is forgettable.

Great eclectic restaurant in downtown Tampa. Ate there for the first time last week and really enjoyed it. The ambience is pretty hip and funky. The food was really good and our server Josh was awesome. He was very knowledgeable about the menu as well as the history of the restaurant
