What a great experience. First of all, I am Cuban and my mom cooks amazingly. So my standards are high. The plantain Mariquitas are well done and traditional. They came accompanied with a tomato based dipping sauce, however I prefer the traditional lime/garlic sauce. The Yuca Fries are perfect, crispy and light with a great dipping sauce. I had the Fricase de Pollo (chicken fricasee very similar to an Italian Cacciatore) and it could be no better. The sauce is the traditional Cuban base and tasty. For dessert I had the Flan and was pleasantly surprised to see that they drip a little guava marmalade in the plate. The kitchen not only cooks traditionally but also plates very nicely. The ambiance feels classy and very Cuban...they even have an elegant Cuban Domino table set and ready to be used. Service was friendly and efficient. A great experience and much more authentic than the other Cuban restaurant located across the street, which left me unimpressed a few weeks back.
Nice place, good food and the items are not too expensive. Definitely worth a shot if you haven’t been to this place. My service experience was good. I had the chicken with yellow rice and chorizo. It is delicious.
Cuban Foodies is a really cozy and friendly place. The food was great and the staff very kind. The toasted cuban bread was amazing! Highly recommended.
The empanadas here are wonderful! The restaurant is relaxed and beautiful. No harsh fluorescent bright lights in your face. The cashier that helped me was very kind and helpful.
Food, INCREDIBLE!Service, TERRIBLE.We were going to eat in, after 10 mins of being seen but not being acknowledged we walked up to the front where the lady says “oh I was just going to your table.”We decided to get it to go, my husband ordered a coffee to drink WHILE waiting for the food. We were told the food would take 15 mins.15 mins go by… no coffee. My husband walked up to the front to get an update on both coffee and food. Food had been sitting there ready to go, no one letting us know, and coffee had yet to be made.There were 4 tables sitting there and it seemed that only 1 was getting attention.

The food was delicious. The service was not the greatest. The girls need more personality. They looked like zombies walking around the restaurant. The atmosphere needs more life. The kitchen is doing everything correct, but the front end needs help. I usually tip very well, but could not do it today. I recommend this place, If you want some good food, but be ready to have patience.
Just happened to stop here for breakfast today. GREAT food! Perfectly cooked and hot food. Attentive service. Would definitely make a point to come back!

Food was probably the best Spanish food I've ever had. Pork was amazing and tender. Tostones were so fresh. Yuca was good. Will be back!
