I've never done a 3 star rating but me experiencing multiple authentic Mexican restaurants this restaurant is wayyyy too pricey. Especially $4 for an authentic horchata that cost $1-$2 at many other places. Tacos are expensive as well for the size. Nothing wrong with the food nor staff they're awesome but that price though lol gas too high for all that.
First time I've ever had flautas stuffed with chicken. I can't say whether or not they're authentic because I don't know what that tastes like, but regardless they were delicious .
Great food. Me and my coworkers made a visit to this place. It was my first time there. I was impressed with the service and food.
We are from Oklahoma here on vacation. We were looking for a nice Mexican restaurant and this place was it. The service was amazing the man serving us was so nice. We have no complaints about the place. I had ordered the borrocho burrito & my husband ordered the nacho burrito they were both super delicious. Great chips and salsa as well!! Definitely coming back in the future.
Everything was really good, I had the birria tacos with rice and beans and I also got a shrimp taco. The food had lots of flavor and tasty, they give you sauces as well. One is really spicy but the mild sauces are really good
You know you're in an authentic Mexican restaurant when you walk in and the first thing you smell is warm fresh tortillas. The food here is SO good, their salsa is one of my favorites in the entire city, and I absolutely love salsa so I consider myself a pretty good judge! They also have a good amount of veggie and fish options for the non meat eaters. It's in a great spot for me to visit a few times a month and believe me, I do!
We appended on this place after arriving late to our hotel in Tampa. We decided to walk and see if anything was still open. What a find! It’s attached to a gas station but don’t let that fool you. The food is excellent. My husband had the first burrito on the menu. It was huge and packed full of deliciousness. I being vegetarian, was a bit concerned that there would be nothing on the menu as so often happens but they had no problem. They made me tostados with tofu, vegetable and cheese. It was fabulous.
Food was okay, I expected for the tacos to be better. I felt like they could have been more generous with the meat, onions, and cilantro in the tacos. My birra beef was soggy at the moment which I didn't like. My husband ordered a burrito and it was okay. The sauces were okay too. The next day our stomachs were hurting and we think it was from their food.
I come here all the time and order the California burrito. This time the steak in my burrito was full of fat and tendons. Ended up eating fries and beans burrito. And when i told the manager she was like its always been like that (which is not true). Very Disappointed i gave two stars just because i love the place and i know they are good. But not tonight it wasn’t good!
Great local unpretentious mom & pop restaurant that serves a super good Michelada! Shared the Crazy Nachos and Crazy Burrito! Previously grabbed take out only but, since I noticed that they have remodeled and are now providing table service, we decided to eat in - excellent food choices and service with a smile! Inexpensive, made to order and authentic!
