Great bar. Good atmosphere. Drinks were well priced and in true Coyote Ugly tradition, women that dance on the bar earn free shots.
The security at the door (big white guy, red hair, red beard) had a racist attitude toward two different groups of hispanic young people. Some hispanic individuals do not have the possibility of having physical identification such as ID or even a passport because they just got to the country. He denied the entrance to both groups who were over 21 years old. Hopefully, I have the opportunity of having an ID but I couldn't enjoy my night there with my friends due to his RACIST behavior to us.
It was fun I loved it honestly Its all ages 21-40 the bar tenders are beautiful and so nice and the Bouncers do a good job an are always walking around making sure everyone is ok and not getting to crazy.. definitely a good place to go to have some fun .
Went in for first time. 2am on Wednesday for a drink. Black security guard hit me on chest with hand asking for I'd. I'm a promoter and will tell everyone how bad that was. He didn't identify as security. Ya lucky you don't have a dead security guard right now of I had to protect myself!Will be in touch with my lawyer since I was wearing a pacemaker device for my heart. During the Gasparilla night parade, the Coyote Ugly staff and security took very good care of me. I am a disabled veteran who can not stand or sit long. They even brought me over a very comfy chair to sit on. They are very disabled-friendly
Whatever bartenders were employed closing shift starting Sunday January 30th ending Monday morning at 2:45am January 31st ALL need to be replaced. I am visiting from Portland, Maine & thoroughly enjoyed my Tampa & Ybor experience except for this embarrassment. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy! Go to Big Easy or Zydeco if you want fair and respectful service. This place has none!!!
Not impressed. Pat down at the door, $10 cover. All in all it was a bar with beer but plenty of other places to go without the hassle and bustle. If your a gen Z this is your place.
