The restaurant is loosing its ambiance of a elegant place to dine. Itâs more about doing quantity instead of quality. The paella was ok, it was missing taste and Safran. The shrimp criollo had too much paprikas and not enough Spanish flavor. It felt like nice fast food restaurant.

The signature salad was a bit of a joke. He came to the table he put the dressing on and then painted it that was about all he said it was really no pudding added ingredients. He didnât even ask us if he wanted a pepper on top of the salad after it was plated.
For starters reservations are highly recommended for this location. Columbia is very busy. Although we showed up a little early for our reservation and were seated right away. The staff was amazing. We travel with an ADA scooter, and they made sure we got in seated and out with little effort. Our waiter did an amazing job with the number of tables he had. He was very professional and explained the menu and food to us. The food was great and authentic. The atmosphere and history makes this a wonderful place to visit. If you are in Tampa this should be on your list of places to eat at.

Nice lunch. We were all happy with the food and especially happy to have Jim as our server. A pleasant experience.
The service, food, and atmosphere were top notch! I highly recommend getting their sangria pitcher and the pollo manchego.

Great experience from start to finish. The interior decor and music enhanced the food experience. Our server was fantastic (I'm so sorry to have forgotten his name). We ordered the gazpacho, queso fundido, 1905 salad with a killer garlic dressing, picadillo, and chicken valencia. Every dish bursted with flavor. We couldn't fit in dessert but we each had cafe con leche to end the meal. Next time we are staying the area we are driving out to this restaurant again. Driving an hour for this restaurant is worth it.
