Pleasantly surprised! Was a quaint, alluring little spot that had great drinks and food. Excellent throwback to the speakeasy days!! Had to make a reservation over a week out, but it was well worth it. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, great place for a date night! Highly recommended!
OBSESSED with this place and raving to everyone about it. I'll quickly knock out the upsets which really didn't matter because I was sold overall. First my husband and I had to get changed after being told what not to wear when making the reservation over the phone. Had us thinking we were in for something upscale but it turns out when we got there (just as I suspected) there were folks including the servers not within dress code sneakers and all. Anywayssss the food?? AMAZING. I have no regrets. The staff?? super down to earth, helpful, and sweet. This place was a VIBEEE and literally made for one of the most perfect dates my husband and I have had. You just have to go and see for yourself. The music?? bomb (it was giving black lounge vibes). I really didn't know what to expect but this place exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to go back and try something new. I had the chicken and waffles (best I've had) My husband had the steak and fries. Steak was cooked just right with great flavor.
Great service and fabulous food! Enjoyed the night with the girls.. maybe outside dining would be a plus ?
The Ambiance:Amazing. Each table has a it’s own drapes to draw if you want some privacy. That being said, you only have drapes between each table as well, so it’s not conducive to private conversation.The Staff:Absolutely wonderful. We were very well taken care ofThe Food:Delicious. We had a bunch of appetizers and they were each really well displayed and delicious.The Drinks:Fantastic! I had a smoked old fashioned and a pain killer. Both were amazing.Accessibility:They have a lot that requires valet, then you walk up to the door. A password is required to get inside, so make sure you know that before hand.Overall:Absolutely make this a destination to make. It’s totally worth it!
Cocktails and ambiance where perfect . Went for desert and we where not disappointed. A perfect end for Any date night . Chris was fantastic! Also have fun looking for the secret dinosaurs
Everything about Ciro’s was perfection! The laid back vibe, the amazing food & drinks. Brian was so personable and knowledgeable~1st class dining experience and will definitely be coming back!!!
Arrived early to a 7p reservation on a Wednesday, so I walked straight to the bar and took advantage of the end of their happy hour, which was a pleasant surprise both in terms of quality and pricing. I was taken care of by Lauren - she made me a FANTASTIC Old Fashioned ($8 select cocktails during happy hour!!). In fact, she told me, they recently won a competition for the best Old Fashioned in Tampa. The "lower tier" bourbon they use is Old Forrester, so you can't go wrong even with their "lower-priced" alcohol selection. I also enjoyed their three sliders app (great size, $10 during HH). Juicy, tasty. Great start all around! Then it was time to walk to our sexy booth. Ciro's is such a fantastic date spot (although a great place for ladies night, too!). Booths are spacious, surrounded by mirrors, dim lighting, comfy seats. Tables provided can feel small if you order more than 2 of the large plates, but it can be managed with a bit of shuffling/plate combining. First round was specially cocktails. I may have loved their old-fashioned at their bar...Howeverrr, their Fancy AF cocktail was, hands down, the best cocktail I've had in years -- anywhere in the world! Wow! Smoooooth, full of flavor and just decadent. My goodness. What a treat. All 3 of us had seconds! Then we went straight to ordering from their large plates section. We tried their crab cakes, their scallops and crab risotto, and their steak. Great size and delicious. The only plate I felt was a bit smaller than expected was the crab cake -- and it was good, but not stellar. Their scallops risotto was so caramelized & bursting with smoky flavor, though! I loved it! I couldn't really tell where the crab was in it, but the scallops were perfectly cooked and had plenty of them. My friend was raving about their steak - and it looked beautifully grilled and juicy. Service by Zac was stellar. Attentive, but not overbearing. We had plenty of privacy, while also receiving waters and service whenever we needed. In short, a really proper upscale experience. This is how every experience you pay these prices for should be!
Amazing. Food is delicious, atmosphere is top notch.Only recommendation is maybe making the table a fold down one from the wall as it was a little hard to navigate the small nested tables with three plates, two glasses of water, and two cocktails.Still 5 stars. It was awesome!
Very cool little speak easy! Drinks were unique and delicious. Food was tasty -- definitely try the truffle popcorn!
This is quite the neighborhood gem. Make reservations and come for the happy hour. During happy hour, the drinks are super affordable and the sliders are amazing. Great vibe and friendly atmosphere. Tampa’s only true speakeasy!
