This was my first and, I’m extremely excited to say, it will not be my last visit..! Pinky and Peggy was awesome and pretty informative regarding menu items. They helped me match items on the menu to bring my taste buds to LIFE.! It was a TRUE whole experience.! The food was fresh, great, and memorable.! I think it’s safe to say it’s now my favorite Mexican restaurant in Tampa.!! They truly put the CHRONIC in my Mexican food craving..!
Love this place! My partner and I have been frequent visitors here for over a year. The food always good and the staff is the best. Paul pretty much has our order memorized plus he always keeps us entertained with great conversation.My suggestion is try the battered fish tacos. They always hit the spot.
Spanish Rice definitely didn’t live up to the name, there’s no flavor, beans are bland as well. Al pastor, the meat tasted unclean is the only way I can describe it, maybe it was too old too serve, I tried recooking at home but the strange taste didn’t go anywhere. The carne asada was okay, the portion was very small and there was too much fat but the flavor wasn’t bad. I would try again, earlier in the day and shrimp and fish this time no pork. Customer service was okay but workers should be reminded they are at work.
I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! They have the best burritos I’ve ever had in Florida. This is now my 3rd day in a row cause I can’t get enough. The sautéed shrimp is amazing and their Baja sauce is the icing on top! Pinky and Peggy are the best!!
This place is great but ordering it through Uber hasn’t been pleasurable.Very first time was great nothing missing, everything tasted great. The second time I was missing their retailed hotsauce( which is extremely good) and also chips that was supposed to come with the queso. I eventually was refunded but when I got my food, it was drenched with guacamole, when I didn’t pay for extra. The third time which is today, I order again through Uber and was disappointed when it arrived. I ordered chips and salsa and only received the chips, I order two red of their hot sauces and received one green and one red, and also the veggies tasted like chemicals. I asked for extra meat as a side and it was added to the bowl I ordered when I just wanted as a side. I called and they told me I needed to be specify as a side note what I am ordering and how I want it exactly. There wasn’t options for me when picking the hot sauce. It’s didn’t say red sauce or green sauce it only says hot sauce and doesn’t give me an option to chose what I want. Also when ordering under “sides” or “add-On” , you’d think ordering extra meat under that section would be a side. Sorry for being a “Karen” but seriously I paid $40 for a disappointing meal.
I’m from Cali and this place was just as good as the Cali places. Great food, fast service, and friendly staff. The atmosphere is very chill too. Clean place. Will come back when I’m back in Orlando.
The employees were very nice and the service was fast. The burrito was amazing, filling, and I've never had the option for Spanish rice which leveled up my experience. They also have tots that were awesome, crispy, and freshly made. The chef came out and shared that he gave us extra crispy ones which made our night even more enjoyable.
Pinky and Devon are the best ever! They were so welcoming and kind and gave us all of the best tips on the food! It was an amazing customer service experience and then even better... the food was amazing!!! The tostada bowl was a must and the rest of the food was great! Definitely recommend anyone to go there when you get a chance?
One of the best burritos I've ever had and the service was fantastic. Pinky was kind and so happy to help us with the menu as we had never been there before. MUCH better than Chipotle or Moes
Was very disappointed with this visit. We order from Chronic Tacos pretty regularly from Doordash but this was the first time we stopped in and I don't think we will be patronizing them any more after this visit, which is a shame because their food is phenomenal! But, the service was bad enough on this visit that we are considering not returning. There were so many things that were wrong I can't even mention them.
