Her macarons and cake are amazing!! You have to stop in. The macarons are bigger than normal so you get more value for your $ :)
A friend of mine bought me delicious dessert of Blue Lady cake and brown sugar chocolate pie. Today he surprised me for dessert again, but brought me to it. This small treasure has a lot of character. The antique furniture and tea cup collection in the decor grabbed my eye as I walked in. The macarons were a close second. Then the cutest cake decorations delivered the final blow. The owner was showing her awesome customer care to her current customer while she kept acknowledging us with eye contact and body language. I had time to see that cake and pie, while her big sellers were not the only thing. There is homemade ice cream and then espresso drinks if you are looking to have a dessert date with someone special, or friends. Tonight I chose the homemade pistachio ice cream. There are layers of flavor that I cannot express for you to fully understand.Go here and support this local small business. The reward will truly be yours.Oh, and we tried the coconut cake also, strawberry and blueberry ice cream. Really, if you have a palate for exquisite taste, you've just found your dessert place.
exceptional...I lived in Germany for 20 years and I love cakes :) when I say love cakes I mean that this is my favorite desert and my passion for cakes goes way back to being a little kiddo and trying many different flavors till I became a bit overweight and my mom put me on a diet lol. These days a work out, have abs and having a cheat day once a week but when I do have that special day coming up I only buy food and deserts that's the best of the best. You can tell by the way this person bakes that she loves what she's doing and baking is truly art. When I came to the states I realized how the American way of baking is different. I enjoy it but always missed the special something I'm used to and grew up with and theses baking goods are truly taking me back to my memories. Ok back to the review..The cake I got was perfectly layered not just sweet but flavorful, nice icing that is matching the cake flavor and a few combined layers that made this cake a 5 star for me. Each layer/I think there were like 3 or 4 in mine are different and all flavors come together nicely. I will send the hubby to snatch me another slice for my cheat day next week lol. Absolutely best desert and drink cafe we have been to in our two month trip in Florida. Even better then anywhere I can think of back home. The owner is a wonderful lady and made a great experience!!
I almost wish I never found this little off the beaten path bake shop and Cafe. Best. Pies. Ever. Incredibly good but now I'm gonna have to watch my wasteline... They have serious baking talent. Super cute place with eclectic old-style decor. Comfortable and relaxing. Easy parking out front.
Excellent dessert spot! High quality cakes, pies, lattes, and more. Great vibes inside with some seating. Nice staff. We especially liked the brownie pie, the chocolate pi special dessert, and the chocolate and blueberry cakes
This is hands down one of the best bakeries in Tampa. I ordered a cake four days before my event and Kim was so gracious and kindly accepted my order. And boy did she deliver, the cake was delicious and a work of art. If you want a cake that excites your taste buds with fresh fruit, extraordinary flavor and perfect texture, Chocolate Pi is the place.
Love this bakery. Their chocolate ganache is heavenly. Also their jumbo macaron desserts are insanely good. I had one the other day that had banana, chocolate ganache and Nutella I think. So good! The guava cream cheese cake is also incredible. Overall, highly recommend.
Service was friendly and quick. Cozy spot. I had the Blueberry Cake and my wife had the Salted Caramel Cake. Both were delicious. We will be back.
