Kyle helped serve me and personal made my day. Great customer service per usual, delicious drinks ,helped make my birthday special
Addicted to the drinks here. I get the Okinawa milk tea and the Thai tea- I prefer Okinawa from this shop as the Thai isn't milky enough for me. Okinawa is perfect and tastes like brown sugar and froth. Good place to study and hang out with friends when it's too rainy for a park, too. :)
Went here on a trip to Tampa this week and this was the second boba place we tried. I get boba maybe 2 times a week at home and I like to try new places when we go out of town. The staff was nice. The atmosphere was nice. This place was just wayyy too sweet for us! I got the lychee green tea and all I tasted was sugar and no tea flavor. My partner and daughter got the california dreaming and they both could not finish theirs because it was just too sweet. I never thought a kid was think anything was too sweet until she said it. Tried to look back at the menu to see if you can adjust sweetness levels like most Asian boba places and did not see anywhere on the menu that it was an option.
SO YUMMY! Their smoothies and slushees are the best - nice and fresh and cold. They always play LoFi music in there too; it’s such a chill environment. Before COVID they would host Super Smash Brothers video game nights and that was so much fun. I wonder if they’ll bring that back sometime? Anyway, this place is great! Definitely give it a try!
Visited Tampa this past weekend, and quickly fell head-over-heels for Chewy Boba. I had the classic milk tea with boba each time, it was delicious! The boba was perfectly chewy. We also tried the macarons, we were highly impressed! The nerdy environment was just there cherry on top, I can definitely see this as a great hang out spot! I'm back home in PA now and already missing Chewy Boba!
The chewiest boba ever. Great selection of drinks, and great ambience.
What a cute place!!!! A definite for locals to come and study, relax, play games, find nerdy friends, have some mochi and boba and get stuff done. Very friendly staff who know their boba and great tasting beverages. A must.
There's a lot of boba places in the area, but this one has become my go-to as of late.Great atmosphere inside with spaced-out tables and nice natural lighting.A huge variety of flavors and preparations. My favorites are the vietnamese coffee and the "tarocado" (taro-flavored avocado smoothie-- don't knock it till you try it!), both of which you can't get anywhere else. One thing that surprised me was their macarons: these actually really good and they have a good variety of flavors that rotates daily. They don't cost much more than the ones you get at publix, and they're way higher quality to boot.
I don't really like boba, but this place hits different. I tried a couple of different boba places but this place is the only one I would ever get boba from. The boba balls are soft and chewy and there's no hardness about them. They are a good consistency and there's a variety of flavors, but the milk teas are best. Other places charge you charge if you dont want ice but this place doesnt.
I loved that they let me sample the tai and taro. The staff were happy to answer all of my questions. I ordered the sea salt coffee. Be advised that it is the most intolerably sweet drink you will ever have in your life. For me it was undrinkable. Next time I will be ordering unsweetened!
