WAYYY Overpriced for the quality of food! Probably the most money I spent on tacos and I didn't enjoy them at all??typically tacos are 2.50-3.00 anywhere else for quality tacos but I wanted to try this place because I live in cross creek, BUT even with gas being $4.50 I'll take that drive in the city for authentic tacos to enjoy them. I'm not mad gotta try it once so you know, but I'll NEVER go back✌️
It's a typical smallish Mexican food restaurant. The food was good, and so was the atmosphere and music. The reason for three stars is that we ordered three meals that were all around $10-12, with no alcohol or extras, yet when the bill arrived it was $56. It should have been under $40. I just paid it and left, but now I see several other reviews that mention their bill getting padded with up-charges, and I think that's what happened to mine as well. So if you go there, be sure and read your bill carefully before paying it.

I was on the phone purchasing homeowner’s insurance when the agent saw my address and recommended an uncommonly good restaurant that is a bit “off the beaten path. ” Turns out his acclaim was not misplaced! Our takeout experience was seamless and the food was delightful. If you are ever in New Tampa , treat yourself.
Excellent food and service
Overall poor experience. I called in and ordered three entrees and was told they would be ready in 25 minutes. It took almost 45 minutes for them to have the food ready because the order taker never gave it to the kitchen. My Tacos Pastor were just awful. The pork was mostly dried out and crunchy little pieces swimming in grease and it was not edible. We were really disappointed with the quality of the food and likely won't be back
Used this restaurant 5 times for takeout. Food in general is pretty good. Organisation and management response when things don’t go so well is appalling. My wife orders via doordash (their only online option). I go to pick it up. I quote the mobile number listed for the order, i take it home. I give the waitress cash tip. All quite simple. On the last occasion when i got there and quoted the number they had a different number for it. No idea how as doordash had texted us on the correct number when the order was ready. Mistakes happen. That’s expected. It’s how companies deal with it that matters especially for repeat business. Waitress said they weren’t allowed to give me the order. Ok can i speak to the manager please. Not only did he not help he refused to speak or even look at me when i was stood in front of him.. Will not return. Plenty of other good takeout alternatives in the area.
Met someone on the Flatwoods bike trail who recommended this place. Arrived for lunch a few minutes after noon. We are greeted and told it will be just a moment because they are very busy.Seated in the middle of the place in a booth. The servers look sharp- white shirts with red bandannas. Nearby is a large party with little kids running around and noisy. Margarita is our server. Nice person. Salsa and chips are good. Wife's ice tea is strong and just right...an "A", Kitchen is running behind so it takes longer than it should. I got chicken enchiladas, rice and beans. Wife got a chicken enchilada. Grades: Chicken enchiladas could have been a B but they were oversalted. C Chicken quesadillas. Full of chicken and tasty. B+ Rice. Kinda dry, not too exciting. Big clump in mine. C Beans. Not too exciting. Didn't finish C Used the last two shakes of hot sauce out of two bottles C Two lunches and one tea+ tax =$20. Still left $4 tip because we need to keep servers around. Kitchen needs help. Any mexican restaurant needs plenty of hot sauce. Especially Valentina. We have left a lot of reviews for a lot of mexican restaurants. (Sol y Luna, Papa's n Beer, La Hacienda, etc. ) We don't plan to come back. Final rating- fair.
Hidden gem! The chips are always hot and fresh. The taco Tuesday deal is amazing! It is worth the long wait times! Most authentic food you'll eat in the area!
This place is so unassuming from the outside that we weren’t even sure they were still open. Upon entering, it’s a different story! Lively and bustling! We went for Taco Tuesday. Tacos are $1, very good quality and delicious. Service was excellent and very friendly. This might be my new favorite place!
