I came here for brunch on a Sunday and I will come back. I feel like it's hard to find tasty, affordable restaurants in the Tampa area and this one did not miss in terms of service, overall taste, and price. Living up to its name, this restaurant looks like something that was taken straight out of LA and brought to Tampa. We started with the chips & salsa (free refills) and the seasonal aqua Frescas. For my meal, I got the San Jose bowl and swapped the potatoes for the coconut avocado rice (delicious!). If you're looking for a quick, affordable, tasty meal, make sure to stop by Cali!

I was in the area and decided to stop in for brunch by myself. The wait was 20 minutes, but they do have 4 bar seats, so I was seated immediately.Jocelyn waited on me and she was super helpful and nice.Dana delivered my food and she was very pleasant and welcoming.The establishment was clean and I love the open kitchen. All employees are friendly and I'm judging by the genuine looking smiles on their faces.Ok let's get into it. The mango mimosa and the fajita bowl were both to die for.The fajita bowl was fresh and so flavorful. There's so many textures starting with the coconut Avocado rice, perfectly cooked and slightly crunchy veggies (peppers/ onions) crispy lentil bites, guac, and pepper jack cheese. It was literally a fresh party in my mouth.The mimosaS were amazing. The mango puree that they use is really good. They aren't shy with the champagne.I'm highly impressed with the flavor and freshness... I will definitely be back!
My family and I came to get dinner for the night. It was easy to get parking at the restaurant. The restaurant is not big but we got a table easy bc it was a rainy night. The hostess and waitress was very friendly and welcoming. We all got different types of food. All was really good!!! Got a cocktail that was great too ! The prices was reasonable. That the end of it the waitress gave us all free cookies for first timers. I thought that was super nice of them. I highly recommend this restaurant. I have no complaints about this place. Would love to come back in the future when we are back in town.
Good healthy food options on the menu.Tried this restaurant for the first time on a Friday night.Couldn’t dine in as we reached close to their closing time.So we decided to take out.Ordered a vegan bowl with sticky rice and a burrito that are popular on their menu.Tasted good but could have been better.Will be back to actually dine in and try other options on the menu.
EXCELLENT! Great service and food was delicious (had steak and eggs bowl). Atmosphere is cute and relaxing. Great choice!
CRG knows how to make cool food concepts and a lot of their places are bangers, so I was so glad a location came closer to me. I am a huge fan of the hot ‘n crunchy bowl and I thought this location would be reminiscent to their Ciccio Cali in Tampa Palms, but (twice now) their hot ‘n crunchy bowls in the S. Tampa location have been super salty to me where I couldn’t finish my bowl. This location has a lot of inside and outside spots and has the same clean and cool vibe as their T. Palms location. Size of meal here seems to be less than other location but price is the same. Parking is fair in the plaza.
We arrived at Cali after driving by for months, the restaurant had two other tables seated, one of which had already ordered. There was an ample amount of staff that day so I’m not really sure where this visit went wrong. We ordered the house fresh juices to start, we tried to order however she said we can order when she came back, the waitress brought out the wrong drink for me, however got my husband’s correct nonetheless they were decent drinks. She then disappeared as guests channelled in, eventually came back and the restaurant was at 80% capacity inside and out. We called her over she took our order, which then took 45mins to arrive, with only 3 other tables being served before us. Ive ran a kitchen that operates from scratch, there is no need for that amount of wait time for the food we received, with no updates in between, kindly let your guests know, that your kitchen is behind. Offer starters if you must. I have two toddlers so it can get ugly really quickly, especially on a 45min wait. The food arrived and it was so mediocre, honestly Ive read the reviews they appeared decent but this is not it for us. The fruit was dull, ginger pancakes were doughy and minimal ginger, syrup was watery, I asked for over medium and received over easy, no big deal I tried them regardless. Cali is a 1 and done restaurant as far as brunch goes.
We enjoyed a really nice family dinner out last night at Cali, great chill vibes and super kid friendly which is always a bonus. Check them out for some great bowls, I recommend the “soo…buff” (where my blue cheese fans at??) and the Thai bowl. Delish
